Nireasta View- The Illawarra's hidden splendour
Located just over 1.5 hours’ drive from Sydney CBD with easy and close proximity to Illawarra Beaches and The Southern Highlands, Nireasta View is situated within a rural setting. The 2.5 acre property is fringed with well-maintained and landscaped gardens and shares a border with the Illawarra’s largest working dairy farm. Contemporary, comfortable and well equipped private "GUEST SUITE" retreat with bespoke furnishings for a touch of elegance. # Please note we close during July & August ‘The Sotterraneo’ at Nireasta View will envelope your senses with its astonishing quality and natural surrounding beauty leaving you with a sense of calm and serenity. Situated between the magnificent Illawarra Escarpment and the glistening waters of Lake Illawarra, Nireasta View affords the guest a gratifying experience of a rural retreat within an architecturally designed home. This hideaway is suited to couples, corporate travellers or solo adventurers. Owners Wally and Nerida reside in the main house while ‘La Sotterraneo’ indulges the guest to a getaway of isolation and seclusion. The owners will be available by phone or text if any assistance is required. Your privacy will be respected. Every year in May the local Airport plays host to ‘Wings Over Illawarra’ Australia’s best annual air show featuring formation displays and aerobatics from the Australian Defence Force. Be liberally compensated with one of the best views in the area by staying at ‘Nireasta View’ and visiting the Historical Aircraft Restoration Societies Museum over this 2 day event. Perhaps you’d like to Skydive the Beach in Wollongong or brave the waterslides of Jamberoo Action Park. At Nireasta View we are a short jump away from many of the Illawarra’s most popular attractions. If it’s the beaches, surfing or fishing it’s a short 10 minute drive, weekend local markets are bountiful. Take a bushwalk on one of escarpment trails or hug the coast trail from Kiama to Gerringong, visit Minnamurra Rainforest and walk to the top to ingest the spray of the majestic waterfall. There’s lots to see and do, despite being in a rural setting we do have a beautiful rustic café and function centre 3km from us that supplies scrumptious breakfasts, lunches and aromatic coffee. For supermarket supplies we are a 10 minutes to the nearest town by car. The public rail network is 5km away, whilst public buses are available and arrive hourly it is a 30 minute walk to our place so we suggest the best mode of transport is by car. If you are arriving by plane transport to and from the airport can be organised or taxis are available.
