Welcome to Brisbane and to our home! You will enjoy a spacious, bright, beautiful room with garden view, queen sized bed, desk, chair, cupboard, etc. + all amenities. Also welcome to use of the Garden & BBQ area. 15 min bus to city or 10 by car. Room in nice home. 2 x bedrooms, 1 x bathroom. Just 15 minutes from the CBD and in a quiet street opposite a park. The House The unit is fully fire protected between the levels for peace of mind & to ensure you are protected in the case of an emergency. This is one house, so transference of noise is inevitable, but hopefully no more than that in a hotel or apartment. Kitchen A full kitchen with all the standard conveniences is catered for including microwave, stove, kettle, toaster, cookware, rice cooker, plenty of glassware and dinnerware etc. Living Area The open plan dining/lounge has TV, DVD/CD (does not play Blu-Ray). Linen All linen is supplied. Laundry There is a washing machine, iron & ironing board & clothes drying rack and pegs (there is a clothes line) in the back yard. Laundry detergents & cleaners are provided as a courtesy for your arrival. Security Security of the property is important! Your windows and doors are provided with security screens and I would request you please ensure these are locked appropriately when leaving the property. Guests are welcome to arrive anytime. Check out time is 10am. If you require late checkout or early check-in, please let me know and I will try to accommodate you. There is plenty of parking on our quiet street. I live downstairs in a independent unit so will be able to assist if necessary however I prefer to let you just enjoy the space in peace and quiet. We'll keep in touch about check-in & check-out and if there are any problems or questions I am always available via mobile to assist. You will be sharing the house with 3 other lovely people. We will be happy to offer our help throughout your stay. Stafford is just 7kms from the city (a 10 minute drive). It is approximately 15/20 minutes to the airport and you can choose to use the new airport tunnel or drive across via Stafford/Wooloowin to avoid tolls. •The Stafford Shopping Centre is just a 10 mins walk and has a Hoyts movie theatre, Woolworths, Aldi, Big W & specialty stores.   Public Transport - There are a number of public transport options in the area. •A bus stop for route 345 (stop 31) is 5 minutes walk away. This will take you south direct into the city every 10-15 minutes. Otherwise, you can go north to Aspley.
