Apartment Ambi, at the foothills of High Tatras

Come to enjoy your stay in a friendly apartment with fully equipped kitchen, antique master bedroom, two twin bedrooms, incl. a cot for the little ones and bathroom with a washer. After a long hike you can relax in the garden doing barbecue or picking fruits when in season. Apartment Ambi is at the right spot for your visit of High Tatras. Located at the foothill of majestic mountains and yet between two towns. Enjoy both, city entertainment as well as deep mountain hikes. Apartment Ambi is inside a detached family house on the 2nd floor with stair access. Inside you will find fully equipped kitchen, master bedroom with a king-size bed (it can be split into twin beds) with antique furniture, and two twin bedrooms, one used as a living room with a satellite TV and a workspace. There is also a cot for your little one. - fully equipped kitchen with cutlery, dishes, kettle, fridge, induction stove (2 plates), microwave etc... - master double bedroom and a twin bed room (optional cot for baby) - additional 3rd twin bedroom for bigger groups or extended families - bathroom with a washer, hair-dryer, towels, soaps, including a toothpaste - there are two balconies in the apartment - fast open WIFI internet and a work desk - satellite TV - iron and ironing gear - parking is available behind gate in front of the house (up to three cars) - you can access front yard, do barbecue or pick seasonal fruits If I can do anything else for your comfort, please let me know. Velka Lomnica is the gate to High Tatras. Tatranska Lomnica is just 10 minutes drive and it's the first of three major centers (others are Stary Smokovec and Strbske Pleso). From here you can start your trip to peaks, valleys and cottages of High Tatras mountains or to nearby region with castles and UNESCO sights. Here are three walks I consider the best and are not difficult even for office workers :) or children: - start in Tatranská Lomnica and take a lift to Skalnate Pleso, from there take the right path and go to Zelene Pleso. Green colored lake with beautiful cottage and a perfect garlic soup will await you behind the peaks as you descend from the top - go to Stary Smokovec and take the lift to Hrebienok, from there follow the path to "Rainerova chata" cottage and from there continue to "Zamkovskeho chata" cottage, find the great waterfall in the forest. From there you can continue deeper to "Teryho chata" cottage. - go to Strbske Pleso and hike around the lake there, from there continue to Popradske Pleso with nice lake and a cottage. Find symbolic cemetery dedicated to all the people who died in the mountains while you descend down the road. To relax after a long hike I recommend going to thermal spa or a relaxing swimming pool. There is a huge thermal park AquaCity in Poprad. I like saunas and a pool in AquaRelax in hotel Titris in Tatranska Lomnica, and if you need some healthy treatment for your bones, thermal spa in (Hidden by Airbnb) v is the place to go. You can get to Velka Lomnica by train from Poprad or Kezmarok but I would suggest to use Taxi, it is cheap and available anytime (RadioTaxi company has friendly rates - about 8 € from Poprad) . From Velka Lomnica you can get by train to all towns and centers nearby. Train station is located 15 minutes walk from the apartment. A train ticket costs about 1€. If you are coming by a car, you can leave your car behind the gates or on the street, as you wish. Smoking is not allowed inside, but you can use one of two balconies in the apartment or the garden. We do not help with Visa arrangements.
