Mount Pleasant 150 metres from the beach

Mount Pleasant is a lovely spacious seaside property, situated in an elevated and peaceful spot with views overlooking the quaint coastal village of Little Haven and beautiful St Brides Bay. Accessed from the Pembrokeshire Coastal path and just 150metres from the beach, Mount Pleasant is the perfect place to gather family & friends and explore the great outdoors. Play on the beach, surf the waves, hike the trails, visit Pembrokeshire's many attractions or relax in the comfort of Mount Pleasant. The wonderful living spaces and luxuriously comfortable beds provided at Mount Pleasant make it a great place for holidays with families or friends. There is parking available for up to 5 cars on the driveway. Entering the house through the front door you are welcomed by a spacious porch where coat hooks and shoe racks are provided for your convenience. Through the porch you have access to the downstairs bathroom, which is perfectly located when you return from fun times on the beach. The downstairs bathroom comprises a shower cubicle with power-shower, toilet, washbasin, mirror and changing bench. The double-doors from the porch give access to a wide hallway off which you find the entrance to the dining room & kitchen, conservatory, lounge and the stairway to the first floor. The dining room features an ornate solid oak dining table which is extendable to comfortably seat up to 14 people. Beyond the dining area, the room leads on to the very well equipped kitchen. The kitchen appliances include a large American style fridge-freezer, a Rangemaster 110cm induction hob and electric oven, a dishwasher, toaster, microwave and kettle. The very well stocked cupboards contain crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and kitchen equipment to satisfy your culinary and dining desires. There is a utility room accessed from the kitchen, which includes a storage cupboard, washing machine, dryer, hoover, iron, ironing board, clothes airer and drying rail. Entering the spacious lounge through the double doors from the hallway you find a log burning stove and chunky oak beam mantlepiece. The room includes a Smart TV, DVD player and X-Box360, a well stocked bookshelf and sideboard, a coffee table and a large leather corner sofa. From the window you enjoy lovely views over the village of Little Haven. At the end of the hallway there is double door access to the conservatory which is furnished with a exquisite chunky Acacia wood table and stool set and wonderfully comfortable Rattan sofas. From the windows of the conservatory you have superb views over the village of Little Haven and out to sea. There are wooden stair gates fitted at the top and bottom of the stairs to keep children safe and to keep pets downstairs. Upstairs there are six bedrooms and a bathroom. There are two bedrooms with twin beds, one bunk bedroom, two bedrooms with oak kingsize beds, and one bedroom with a luxurious velour superking-size bed. All beds have good quality mattresses to aid a good nights sleep. The master bedroom over the garage enjoys views out to sea. One of the twin bedrooms has views over the garden and all other bedrooms benefit from views over Little Haven and glimpses of the pebbles. The bathroom includes a shower cubicle, bath, toilet, washbasin and mirror with wave operated light. The secure garden is accessible from the conservatory and dining room and is a great place for children, adults and pets alike, with stunning views out to St Brides Bay and over the village. A BBQ and garden loungers are provided in warmer months. Our lovely friend Sue lives locally and looks after the running of Mount Pleasant and can be contacted as required during your stay. Just 150metres from the beach, Mount Pleasant is the perfect place to explore the great outdoors. You can enjoy a leisurely stroll along the beach listening to the sound of the waves and the cries of seabirds, visit the puffins and other seashore birds on nearby Skomer Island, enjoy on or off-road cycling, go trekking, running, surfing, body boarding or swimming. There are plenty of options. Alternatively if you want a quiet day around the house there is plenty to enjoy from the comfort of the house or garden. At the end of a busy day you can pick from any of the 3 local pubs restaurants in Little Haven to enjoy a relaxing meal. There are also more restaurants and shops in Broad Haven which is only a ½ mile walk from Mount Pleasant. As you step off the driveway you join the Pembrokeshire Coastal path, which extends for some 186miles. Go to the visitpembrokeshire website and follow the link to the coastal path to find out more. The Puffin Shuttle bus service runs between St-Davids to the North (famous for its Cathedral) and Marloes to the South (famous for the Marloes Sands beaches) and stops at Little Haven enroute. A £200 bond must be paid to Sue on arrival. This is to cover damage if required and is otherwise returned at the end of your stay.
