Farm stay with private room and bathroom

Situated in a small village just outside of Bridgend, the house sits on a small holding farm with acres of land to enjoy. The house itself was built by us in the early 90's and was designed to perfectly accommodate family living with farm life. The bedroom is spacious with glorious views and there is an enclosed garden with outdoor seating and both an indoor and outdoor log burner. We have cats, dogs and donkeys at the property who love to be fussed and loved by people. Your room is very large and spacious with views of the garden and fields outside the window. There is a large family bathroom for your private use that has a large bath and an over-the-bath shower. If you are a family with children we have extra single bed rooms available which could be booked at an extra price if required. Our home is situated in a field with an enclosed garden and a castle shaped slide and swing making it a perfect area for children to play. Alternatively, if you are looking for a peaceful stay we have two outside seating areas with an outdoor log burner to enjoy. We have two living areas to enjoy, one of which is the perfect spot to sit and read or play a board game whilst enjoying the views of the surrounding fields. There is also a 3/4 snooker table available for use. Guests will have access to their bedroom, living areas, kitchen and outdoor spaces. We only ask that guests be respectful of our home and the animals who live here. There will always be one of us at the property so if there is anything needed we can be on hand to help. The farthest away we will be is in the fields or the stables which are located less than 100m from the house. We are happy to recommend any activities during your stay. Being situated in the county, there are a number of walks to enjoy from the house or many others only a short drive away. There are also a number of beaches and castles close by which are well worth a visit. We provide a booklet with all the best walking routes and close by amenities that we would recommend for your stay. We are only a 10 minute walk from the Coed Y Mwstwr hotel and gold club. In our village there are three pubs which serve food that are less than 0.5 miles away. We are located very close to the M4 junction 35, 10 minute drive from Bridgend town centre and equidistance between Cardiff and Swansea city centres. There is plenty of on site parking at the property. There are good bus links from the village to Bridgend or Pencoed, both of which have train stations serving Cardiff and Swansea.
