Kallirachi - Sta Koritsia tou Lagou

Two floor house in Kallirachi village. Location is upper village - right above the town church - St.Dimitrios. Traditional village house - attached one wall with other family house. Own entrance either first or second floor. 1st floor includes bedroom with two beds - one double an one single who turns into a double. Also the bathroom with shower and washermachine is on the first floor. Circular stairs up to second floor. Second floor is one room with kitchen and livingroom and balcony with table and chairs. Kitchen is equipped with dishwasher and espressomachine. View over Kallirachi valley and the sea. This is a family house who was torn down and built up again in old traditional greek stone house style - finished in June 2017. We live in Norway and use the house when visiting family in Thassos. This is our first summer renting out our house. We hope you'll like your stay. All of the house and the balcony We will not be able to great our guests personally but we have people who delivers keys and answers any questions you may have The atmosphere of this village is absolutely amazing. Narrow streets which climbs up along the hills above the valley. White stone houses side by side makes it a pittoresk village of traditional Greece. There is a town square down where the village starts, with a couple of restaurants/tavernas and some grocery shops. On top of the Mountain there is a small church which is worth a visit. Entrance by foot. Seaview from the balcony. Several sandy beaches in short reach by car. We recomend Skala Maries, skala sotiria and Pachis Beach. There is also a small nice Beach in skala Kallirachi. It is possible to park downside at the church parking space, which is just one minute from the house. The road up there is quite steep and narrow. There are also several places to park down around the platia - the City center. Approx 10 minute walk. We always rent a car to get round and about. Our realtor will greet you and show you to the house when you arrive the village, and help you with luggage if you need. Be prepared to move around the village by foot. This is not a trafficed village. A scooter or a motorbike could be a good alternative.
