Cradle Mountain is 40min drive from "Wilmot Valley of Views" a small farming village. You will have a private room with King size bed, with bathroom. Rate includes, help yourself breakfast in Guest lounge area. (PLEASE NOTE: make sure to select the number of guests traveling (Adults/Children over 2yrs) in the drop down selection when booking, as room is costed per person ) Private room, with 1 King size bed (Professional Linen Hire is included per stay - sheets, pillow slips, bath towels, bath mat & face washer - this is the cleaning cost fee included per room) Bathroom with Shower, Sink, toilet & hairdryer (small soap included) TV, Wardrobe, bedside table with lamp. Room has small fridge & kettle. Breakfast supplies included in nightly rate (see guest access for details) For an evening meal: You may use our kitchen to cook your own meals (note we use this to bake etc, so will just need to work around us) Or try or house made cornish pasties for $8.00 each, which can be heated, or dine out at Tavern 15 mins drive away. Please Note: You will need a car as there is no public transport to Wilmot and no public transport from us up to Cradle Mountain (40kms) Also shops and dinning in the area are limited, so best to bring most supplies with you from Ulverstone or Devonport. Note: Due to covid-19 Access new guidelines for using the guest shared area. • Do not enter the shared area if you are feeling unwell. • Please use the sanitation on deck before entering. • Only 6 people max at a time allowed in Guest shared area • Keep 1.5meters apart. • Please wipe down hard surfaces when finished • On check-in you will be given you own set of crockery to use for the duration of your stay, please clean and reuse these as required and place in dishwasher when checking out . • This are will be closed daily between 11am - 1pm for cleaning. We have 2 other en-suite rooms, plus a 2 bedroom unit, all guests have access to the guest shared lounge/breakfast room in the Old Bakehouse Building which has... Breakfast Supplies (Cereal, Milk, Tea, Coffee, Juice, Bread & spreads) - Internet (Wi-Fi) -Television -Land line Phone (As mobile phone reception is not good in the area -Coffee Pod machine -Water filter machine -Dining table -Lounge -Small fridge -Toaster -Kettle -Cutlery, crockery & glasses -Microwave-Egg cooker -Books, games & puzzles. Plus deck with BBQ, table & chairs If you would like to do your own cooking, please let us know, as happy to give access to our kitchen if required as long as you are happy to work around our baking. Note: Changes due to covid-19 • Your key will be avail in your door from 2pm on check-in day, so you can have no contact check-in. • All info re guest area and WIFI will be in your room. • Guest area for breakfast and cooking your own meals will be still avail. (see guidelines) • On check-in you will be given you own set of crockery to use for the duration of your stay, please clean and reuse these as required and place in dishwasher when checking out . • If you require us during your stay , just send a message through the Airbnb message and we will respond. • Just leave you key in the door again at checkout • All rooms with have a day blocked after each stay to allow for extra cleaning time. (open limited hours) Picnic area, with BBQ and tennis court. Museum and tourist info (open some days) Country Fire Station Sports ground with children playground. 3kms to Lake Barrington for swimming, fishing and water sports Short scenic drives too...Cradle Mountain National Park, Leven Canyon, Sheffield, town of murals, beaches, fishing, Forrest walks and so much more. Moina Tavern is location 15 min drive towards Cradle and is open 7 days form 11am - 7.30pm serving meals and bottle shop No public transport is avail to get to us in Wilmot or Cradle Mt and around surrounding areas. So a Car is required to get to us and also to get around. Transport is available in Devonport which is 40kms, (which is about 40 mins drive) from us. Devonport has – Airport Spirit of Tasmania Car Rental Redline Buses to Launceston, Hobart, Burnie & Smithton with small towns on the way. Private tour bus companies to local areas We bake bread to order, for delivery to retail outlets down on the coast on some mornings. So need you to understand we may have bread crates etc around as this is not your normal kitchen. (we are happy for you to use, just need to work around us on some days. ) Our bread is supplied to enjoy for your breakfast. We also make a Cornish Pastie $8 which are able to purchase, and are great to heat up for your dinner. We love our pets and have dogs & cat on our property. If you would like to bring your pets with you , please let us know as we would love them to come and stay with your too!
