Moss Bank Farm

Welcome to Moss Bank Farm. Our names are Amy and Shaun and we live close by with our cockerspaniel Ruby. We bought this old County Dairy Farm in late 2019 and sadly it was in a very bad way. So we knocked some things down and built some things up and we are very proud of what we have done so far. This was the old farm house. There are no cows anymore just a few hens, couple of geese and some lawnmower sheep. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Beautiful rural location but stones throw from the town centre. You will have the house, garage/games room and garden area with hot tub to yourselves and we live next door. We have a lovely big space both indoor and outdoor- The garage has even been converted to a small games room with a pool table, seating and a darts board We like to let guests feel at home and give them a sense of privacy however we are on hand by call or text should they need anything from us at all We are so lucky with our location because the house feels like really remote, the area is quiet and peaceful but jump in a car and you’ll be in town within 2-3 minutes. Wrexham has lots of bars, restaurants, shopping, a cinema and bowling. 5 minutes from Wrexham Maelor Hospital and town centre In the immediate area we are on a country lane with lots of footpaths and places to explore. Our favourite point of interest is walking across the sheep fields to Bluebell wood and visiting the resident swan on the pond. We are 10 miles from the Roman city of Chester, an hour away from Snowdonia National Park, and the same distance from some beautiful beaches and seaside towns. We have plenty of taxi numbers in our welcome pack but do recommend our guests take a stroll in the nearby area, perfect scenery. The house is set in 5 acres of farm land and in that land we have some chickens, sheep and geese. Whereas this land is not part of your space, we are very happy to take you around and you can feed the animals, it’s always a winner with the children! The hot tub is wood burning and whereas we will provide all the logs, kindling and fire lighters you will need for your stay we kindly remind guests that we do not provide robes and slippers. (Hot tub is not heated for your arrival but we leave you detailed instructions on how to heat the water yourselves) Guests are welcome to bring their own disposable BBQ’s for use at the property. We have a stand to house disposables.
