Yuulong Cottage

Yuulong Cottage is located on ten acres surrounded by native trees overlooking bass strait on the Great Ocean Road.Yuulong, could be considered the gateway to the best sites along the shipwreck coast, ideal location for nature lovers and explorers Comfortable and quiet fully detached bungalow/cottage set on 10 acres of bushland overlooking Bass Strait.Yuulong is approx 50 minute drive from Apollo Bay and Colac, 30 Minutes from Port Campbell, and 20 minutes from the 12 Apostles, Princetown, tree top walk and water falls. Only 10 minute drive from the Gables, Moonlight head and Melba Gully and the glow worms. Travelers are welcome to wander the property and enjoy nature at it's best. If arriving late guest need to consider meal arrangements as most eateries in the area will close after 8 PM and our kitchenette has limited cooking facilities ( kettle, toaster-oven, small microwave oven and bar fridge.) As beautiful as Yuulong is it is not in an ideal location for the "Restaurant experience" as most eateries ( depending on the season ) can require at least a 30 minute drive. Therefore we suggest planning well ahead for meals, if you need more information we are more than happy to help.Note: The property is reliant upon tank water therefore we do not provide a laundry service and washing clothes in the kitchenette or bathroom is not permitted. Please don't hesitate to ask for assistance. If there is something you need which is not available in the cottage let us know. ***Check-in is between 2PM and 8PM. If you plan to arrive later then you must contact us in advance with an approximate arrival time*** The problem with the Great Ocean Road? There's never enough time to explore everything...but you can always come back! 10 minutes from Melba Gully and the Glow worms, moonlight head and 20 minutes from the 12 Apostles. Traveling is primarily done by car. Public transport is available at Lavers Hill and Port Campbell and runs to Apollo Bay, Colac and Warrnambool Timetables available at Lavers Hill General store.Most people who travel to this region enjoy the walks,bike trails and natural wonders. The cottage has information brochures featuring all the sites of the shipwreck coast.The Kitchenette is equipped with Toaster, kettle, water filter, small bar fridge, basic utensils, coffee and a variety of Tea's.
