The Barn, spacious and cosy, two storey, self-contained hideaway, set at rear of 3/4 acre property. Perfect for exploring the villages of the Dandenong Ranges/Yarra Valley or for R&R. Set in a peaceful environment, 1.8k from Monbulk township. Complementary breakfast basket, Wifi & Netflix provided. This space can comfortably accommodate from 1 to 4 people. The ground level has a kitchenette, environmentally friendly bathroom (shower only) and a spacious lounge/dining room with a couch which converts into a double bed. The kitchenette contains a microwave, refrigerator, 2 hob electric cooktop, toaster, kettle, crockery and utensils. There is a staircase leading to the Bed/sitting room on the 1st floor. Upstairs is your queen sized bed, small balcony and second lounge area complete with internet TV, Netflix, DVD player with a small collection of DVDs of classic musicals and a variety of movies including movies from the silent movie era for your viewing pleasure! Please note: The Barn is deliciously private, occupies my property on which there is my home and an inground swimming pool. My home and pool are NOT AVAILABLE to guests at any time. Guests have access to both floors of The Barn and are welcome to wander throughout the garden and sit on garden benches or even have a picnic. Sunny mornings and afternoons are wonderful just watching the birdlife going about its business - very relaxing. Guests do not have access to the inground pool, pool area or my home which are on the same property as The Barn. I don't accept third party bookings. Re Parking: there is free parking at the front of the property. The dedicated guest parking spot is on the left just inside the front fence. Guests are NOT permitted to drive all the way to the Barn. I will usually be available to greet guests and escort them to The Barn. There is free parking on the property. Perfectly placed so that whichever direction travellers head in from Monbulk, be it north, east, west or south, one cannot help discovering treasures contained in the villages of the Ranges or the Yarra Valley. There is beauty, charm and interest, no matter the season. Guests will need to have their own car to get around. This is the most efficient way to maximise touring around the Dandenongs and Yarra Valley. The nearest train station is Belgrave which is a 10 minute drive from Monbulk. There are bus, taxi and uber services available. We have a small dog which is usually friendly. He is small of stature - big personality.
