Our house is warm & inviting, and is the perfect escape for relaxation, & fun! The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, (no street noise/traffic) has beautiful views, lots of light & open space. 5-minute drive from downtown Main Street New Paltz. It has been newly renovated and decorated. Sit on the back deck and listen to the tranquil sounds of the stream at the base of our property, and gaze at stars and night skies in the evening, as there is no light pollution. There is a large dining table ideal for family meals, along with three great spaces within the house for game and movie nights. Suitable for children. Strong, fast wifi throughout the house. Great staycation or work-from-home alternative. An excellent home for remote learning. Wonderful for an extended stay! Weekly house keeping available upon request for an additional fee. Within the 2,800 square foot house are 4 bedrooms ( 3 queens, 1 of the queens also has a twin in it, 1 room with 2 twin beds). A sleeper sofa in the entertainment room also has a queen bed if needed. Pack 'n Play is also available. All have comfy, soft new linens & towels. There is a an outdoor Weber BBQ gas grill. There is an adult/kid friendly comfortable entertainment room on the upper level with a large flat-screen smart t.v., as well as another entertainment/family area on the lower level with a t.v. & d.v.d player and dvd's. There is a wide selection of books for your leisure. We have an air hockey table for you to play! The main floor is easily accessible from the parking area and front door. There are no stairs on the first level. There is a retractable baby gate at the top of the stairs. Outlet covers are provided as well. There is an electric car charger at the house. It is a JuiceBox 32 Smart Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Station with WiFi - 32 amp Level 2 EVSE UL & Energy Star Certified. Guests have access to the entire home which includes a full kitchen, new utilities, dishwasher, dishware/flatware/pans/ pots/rice steamer/French coffee press/electric tea kettle/waffle iron/slow cooker & wine refrigerator. Herbs & spices, as well. Dish soap, paper towels & napkins are provided for your stay. Bedrooms have soft linens & pillows. Bathrooms have cotton towels, body/facial soap, and toilet paper, as well as starter shampoo & conditioner. Hand soap is provided at each sink. Cleaning supplies (spray cleaners and wipes) are provided. There is a laundry/mudroom with a washer & dryer available, along with an iron & ironing board. The house is all yours except for access to the owner's space/garage/maintenance room. Check in is 4:00 p.m. Check out is 11:00 a.m. House cleaners will access the house by 11:30. A verified ID is a must for bookings. Please read the House Rules in their entirety. We can always be reached by telephone or text should any questions arise, 24 hours a day. We can be at the house within minutes. Self-check-in with a keypad. We are happy to greet you upon arrival and show you where everything is. Should you need garbage/recycling pick-up, during your stay, please let us know. The house is located in a quiet, residential, beautiful neighborhood. It is surrounded by trees making for wonderful privacy, yet a 5-minute drive to Main Street attractions. Stargaze at night from the deck, while listening to the tranquil sounds of the stream at the base of the property. Trailways bus is 5 minutes away. Metro North is 20 minutes away. Local Taxi's & Uber’s are available. The house is situated on 1 acre in a residential, beautiful quiet neighborhood. It is conveniently located to Main Street New Paltz (5-minute drive) to local shops, restaurants, & shopping) SUNY New Paltz, and the NYS Thruway. Nearby are Mohonk Mountain, River-to-Ridge trail, Minnewaska State Park, Mohonk Preserve, and the Hudson & Wallkill Valley Rail Trail. New Paltz also has two swimming pools that are open to the public for a small fee. The Walkway Over the Hudson is about 15 minutes away. Local activities include hiking, biking, rock climbing, golf, swimming, skydiving, apple & pumpkin picking, wineries, distilleries, farmer's markets, as well as sightseeing. Snowshoeing & cross country skiing are popular local activities. Winter hikes are beautiful!
