We are the only homestay in Kasar which offer a decent balcony. We also provide you with a functional kitchen with basic utensils in place. The place belongs to the main priest at the Kasar Devi temple, so you can spend evening at the house listening to the stories. We can also assist you in planning for : Morning jungle treks, Visit to Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary, Cookout by the riverside etc. The Homestay is at a walking distance from Kasar Devi Temple, Mohan's Cafē and grocery store. Kasar Homestay is a perfect Holiday home for friends, or couples. The homestay is situated at a very quiet place right next to the road going to Binsar. The property is owned by the main priest of the Kasar Devi temple. You would love to hear stories about this unique place which comes under the Van Allen Belt. You can park your vehicle along the roadside right next to the homestay. There is small black gate, you can enter from there and move towards the stairs which are going up towards the Homestay. You'll be surrounded by the Himalayas 360 degrees! The main peak to watch is the Nanda Devi Peak which is an amazing sight in the winters or the monsoons. During summer time, the peaks may be clouded by the smoke from the Forest fires.
