Chesapeake Bay Beach Cottage

This cozy coastal cottage offers the ability to enjoy everything the Northern Neck has to offer including the reason we own it - Beach Days! No high rise hustle and bustle, just old school Northern Neck relaxation at the beautiful Chesapeake Bay. Unwind with books, games & toys or get out and do it all... Boating, (we have a brand new double boat ramp 1/4 ml from the house) Beach , Water Activities, History, Dining and more. Fully stocked kitchen & outdoor shower. We also have the fastest. WiFi. The beach is around the corner. The access is at the end of our street (photo of sunset) & down half a block to the right. A shortcut through the wooded area in another photo shows distance from our patio to the opening where the beach is located. If you are coming during the colder months we have a wood burning fireplace, duraflame fire logs only. Bring or purchase at food Lion or Dollar General. This house has 2 private bedrooms each with queen beds and a "bunk room" with full/full bunks* which is open to the Living Room and Dining Area and there is also a comfortable cot and inflatable single bed. * Bunk beds have a weight limit of 200 lbs on top and 250 lbs on bottom bunk. NOT for Adult couples, but can fit two children each depending on weight. One full bath and large outdoor shower, with hot & cold water, Screened porch fireplace(fire logs only) & fire pit . Brand New 2020 Public double boat launch 1/2 mile away. Guest Access to full house, Shed with beach equipment, chairs, umbrella, bogie boards , tubes, etc. Golf cart , kayaks and boat are for owners use only. I am available by phone or text. Family Friendly environment. The last owners had three kids that grew up feeling safe and happy coming here. Fleeton Beach is a community of some year-round residents and some weekenders, some absentee, too. The closest real grocery store is the Food Lion about 15 miles before you get to the house. It's in Heathsville on Rt. 360. There is also a family Dollar General a little closer, about a 10 minute drive in Burgess which sells milk, ice cream etc. Bring bottled water for drinking. Artesian well water is fine if you prefer. Cell service is good, Verizon works best . We now have fast WiFi. We have had our Cottage listed on Airbnb for 3 years now and enjoy sharing with friends and family and you!
