Incredible sea view! Pool. Garden. Beach. Unique!

The apartment is located in a house close to the idyllic village of Cabrils, 30 minutes by car from Barcelona. It has a large wooden terrace with direct access to a nice garden with a 10m x 5m swimming pool with spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea. We recommend you take a look at the photos we have uploaded on this site, as they will give you a complete impression. Lola is a Naturopath and a well known Health Therapist and often organises meditation sessions and other activities at home. The apartment is located in one part of the large property, which is sea-facing and also offers a wide and picturesque view of the valley, the surrounding mountains with the city of Barcelona clearly visible in the distance. The one bedroom apartment accommodates comfortabley two persons and it also has a sofa-bed in the living room for two children/adults. If required we can offer an additional adjoining single bedroom subject to availability. The additional price for this bedroom is 30 Euro per day. Bringing your own transportation is a highly recommended as public transport is a 20 (downhill) - 30 (uphill) minutes walking distance from the apartment. The closest beach, which is excellent, is 10 minutes from the apartment by car. There are a lot of great hiking opportunities in the area, several of which are a short walking distance from the apartment (including one to the small, but very beutifully located, Burriac Castle (“Castell de Burriac”) - a 35-40 minute walk from the apartment (see photos). The center of Cabrils (the nearby idyllic village) is 3-4 minutes by car. Peter and/or Lola are usually available for any assistance you may require, though our holidays may in some cases coincide with yours. In such cases we will ensure that somebody is there to meet you or we shall provide access to the apartment by other means. We both speak fluent English and Spanish and between us we can manage communication in Catalan (Lola fluent), German, French, Italian, Danish (Peter fluent) and Swedish. And, by the way: We love to have guests! Quiet neighburhood surrounded by forrest and mountains with magnificent views of the Mediterranean sea and Barcelona in the distance. In fact the whole area is a national park, "Parque de la Serralada Litoral" with an infinity of beautiful trecking options. It is the ideal place to rest and relax quietly and take long walks in the beautiful region of El Maresme. The beach is just 10 minutes away by car and you can park the car right on the beach. It is a wonderful place for nature lovers who also want to be close to Barcelona. There is a train station at Vilassar de Mar, which is 10 minutes from Cabrils, with frequent trains to Barcelona if you do not want to take your own car to the city. Trains depart every 8-10 minutes and the last train from Barcelona towards Vilassar de Mar departs at around 11:30 (Howecer, please check this in advance). Although there are taxis available at Vilassar de Mar and Cabrils to take you to/from the trainstation (the fare is around 12-13 Euro) we recommend that you have a car to move to and from the house. There is no washing machine directly available for guests. Laundry services can be arranged at the price of 15 Euros/load. The appartment is equiped with a Smart-TV with Internet access and free access to our Netflix account (audio and subtitles in all major European languages), where you have an almost unlimited selection of films and series. There is a supermarket (Sorli Discau) with an attached bakery/cafeteria next to the main road in Cabrils and several grocery shops, a couple of bakeries, a fishmonger, a butcher and 3 cafeterias in the village - all within 3-4 minutes by car. Some of the shops are also open from 08:00 to 13:00 on Sundays. See our Airbnb online Guide Book for further details and a map: (Website hidden by Airbnb) Cabrils is famous for being a "Gastronomic Hub" - people come from all over the province to enjoy the local cousine - and there are several charming restaurants in and around the village and the surrounding area. "Can Rin", "El Hostal de la Plaza", "Ca L'Estrany ", "Tempo de l'Hort", "Xeflis", "Restaurant Calgras", and "La Pizzeria de l'Hort" to mention a few. The various small - and very charming - seasonal restaurants on the beach at Vilassar de Mar (June through September until late night) are also highly recommended. They are located on the beach itself, very close to the breaking waves. We can recommend "Bruma" and "Acamar" . You can park the car on the beach itself - there is a tunnel under the railway near the train trainstation at Cabrera de Mar about 2 km after the Vilassar de Mar train station (direction north).
