Domaine de Romefort used to be a farm but is now converted into 7 luxury gîtes. 350 km south of Paris , in the department of the Haute Vienne (right above the Dordogne ), you'll find peaceful quietness, space and comfort . The surroundings are varied, with green acres, forests and hills. The view is simply magnificent. Domaine de Romefort is well suited for hikers, bikers, families that love nature and the outdoors and for example family reunions. 5 minutes from Domaine de Romefort you'll find the medieval pilgrim village St. Léonard de Noblat. The big living gives space for meals with many people. The view from the bedrooms is a beautiful picture of the hills. On the first floor are 4 bedrooms and 3 spacious bathrooms. Ground floor On the ground floor we have a large kitchen, dining area and sitting area with fireplace. There is a large recreation area with TV with surround sound and good music system. There is WiFi throughout the house. The kitchen is very well equipped with double ceramic hob (8 seeds), dishwasher, microwave, separate oven with separate freezer and refrigerator. The American fridge is huge and has an ice maker to make delicious cool drinks in the beautiful warm summers... The large kitchen is fully equipped and in line with the substantial dining are where large groups can eat together. The huge terrace is also ideal to enjoy a meal with a large group... From the patio doors which brings light into the living room, you enter the spacious garden with lovely views. Outside we have a large table with parasols. The rear entrance gives a nice impression of what used to be the big entrance of the cowshed. The TV area is equipped with a large screen and surround sound. The music system has Internet and plays CDs, DVDs, iPods and memory sticks. The large wooden beam supporting the first floor, gives a lot of character to the big open space. The magnificent oak staircase leads to the first floor. Two bedrooms have two first-person beds and share a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The other two bedrooms have two first-person beds and a bunk bed. These bedrooms have each with a private bathroom with bath, separate shower, sink and toilet. Bathrooms are modern and spacious. You can park your car close to the building. Large playing field with 100m2 pool.
