Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay in the stunning agricultural village of Chilham. Situated a short drive from the city of Canterbury, this property boasts ample private parking, a private patio garden with outside dining space and a stunning surrounding area. If you are looking for a spacious holiday home a short drive away from the hustle and bustle of the City this could be the perfect option for you. As you enter this property the Living room is on the left with 2 sofas, a tv, lampshades, and side tables. On the right is a WC on the right with a toilet as basin. Continuing through the property you will pass the stairs on your right and the kitchen and dining room in front of you, at the back of the property. The open plan area has enough seating for all guests and the kitchen has all the usual kitchen amenities including a washing machine, dishwasher, oven, hob, microwave and utensils. You will see the patio doors in the dining area leading into the garden. The garden is a Patio garden with well maintained plants. There is outside dining furniture for your use and enjoyment. Upstairs the property has two available double bedrooms with clothes storage, bedside tables and lamp. One bedroom with its own en-suite with a shower, basin, and toilet. There is also a main bathroom upstairs for all guests to use with a bath, basin and toilet. The entire house is for the sole use of our guests. Chilham is a pretty agricultural village in the heart of the beautiful British county of Kent. Chilham is mostly residential houses however there are a number of local pubs you can visit including: The White Horse Inn and the Woolpack Hotel. Chilham is also home to Shelly's Tea Rooms. A Short drive from Chilham: Canterbury Cathedral - one of the most beautiful ancient buildings in the UK and the 'must see' world-heritage site in Canterbury. Daily guided tours can be booked in several languages. St Augustine's Abbey - one of the most important monasteries in medieval England. St Martin's Church - the oldest English speaking church in the world. River tours along the River Stour - from March to October visitors can take a guided river tour on board a punt or small boat The Marlowe Theatre - one of the UK's leading theatre venues Westgate Tower and Gardens - a wonderful place to take a walk at any time of the year. Trains to Canterbury 9 minutes and trains to and from St Pancras International take 1 hour 30 minutes. Eurotunnel is approx 30-minute drive from the property; Dover Ferry Port approx 35 For arrivals by coach or bus, Chilham has a number of bus stops with regular connections to Canterbury. This property is in a quiet residential area. There is ample parking on the drive and out on the street but please still park in consideration of the neighbours.
