The Garden Room
Surrounded by beautiful countryside the Garden Room was converted in 2017 into a cosy, away from it all, self-contained annex. We live next to the property separated by a patio. There is an undercover seating area with a small garden in front. There are three public footpaths crossing the property which enables you to reach the banks of the River Severn without using the road and is also situated on the Gloucester to Bristol National Cycle Route number 41. The Garden Room is a self catering annex but an initial supply of essentials such as tea, coffee, sugar and milk are provided. The cupboards are stocked with a variety of cooking utensils but should you need anything we are usually around to ask. The pretty market town of Thornbury is approximately 3 miles away with an abundance of restaurants and bars and the infamous Thornbury Castle. With easy access to the M4/M5 we are in a very central location to access Bristol, Gloucester, Bath, Weston-Super-Mare and are also 15 minutes away from the Severn Bridge which will take you to Chepstow which is at the start of the stunning Wye Valley. Berkeley Castle is 5 miles away along beautiful country lanes which passes the award-winning Salutation Inn. The local pub, The Anchor Inn, is about a mile and a half away where lovely food is served and there is also a community shop selling local produce along with teas, coffees and cakes. We have a dog called Pepe who is a Sprocker. He is very friendly and will be only too pleased to say hello. We also have some chickens who may be able to supply you with the odd egg for your breakfast. Parking is available.
