Farm stay on 30 acres of tranquil country side. Relax in front of the cozy fire in the two bedroom cottage overlooking the breathtaking views of the Hawkesbury River or head outdoors for some bush walking, swimming, fishing, canoeing and more! The two bedroom cottage is found on our 30 acre property which backs onto the Hawesbury River and is surrounded by scenic views of the mountain. Depending on the time of year we have many animals on the property including steer, alpaca, sheep and chickens. Take a short walk down to the chicken pen in the morning to collect eggs for breakfast. In winter the cottage is made extremely cozy by the indoor fire and in summer air conditioning keeps the cottage cool. The cottage contains main bedroom with queen sized bed, second bedroom with two king single beds, bathroom with shower and separate toilet, lounge/dining room with fireplace and kitchen. The kitchen has all the basics except an oven. Most guests cook on the bbq, the electric hot plates or microwave. There is a plunger coffee machine & a Nespresso machine so bring pods of your choice. The verandah has table and chairs and is a great location for eating meals and relaxing with a good book. Guests have access to all parts of the farm excluding the main house and top shed. We encourage guests to make full use of the farm including the use of canoes for a paddle on the river. Life jackets are by the cottage. The cottage is 20 metres away from the main house but is very private. Often we are in Sydney so the farm will be all yours! If we are there we completely respect your space and the only interaction is a friendly introduction and to make sure you are comfortable and to see if you require anything. You are more then welcome to come to the main house if the need arises. Harry our Kelpie dog will be your friendly tour guide and will often follow you around the farm. Lower Mangrove is a very scenic place to visit. There are lots of outdoor activities available in the area. At the end of the road there is a bush walk with aboriginal artefacts. The nearby town of Spencer has a corner store where you can have a yummy breakfast or lunch by the water. They also sell general supplies and alcohol. A meal up the hill at The Springs golf course is a must. No public transport nearby. You will require your own car. Bring all of your own food as the closest corner store is about 15 minutes away in the nearby town Spencer, or The Hub at Mangrove Mountain., where there are some supplies. There is no mobile phone reception on the farm. There is chrome cast & Internet access is provided so data message is available or a quick drive up the road will get you phone reception.
