The Ivywood Barn

We know you’ll enjoy the peaceful and serene environment of The Ivywood Barn. From the comfy king size bed, coffee on the large deck, picking blueberries right off the bushes when in season, cozy robes, the patio, fire pit and convenience to Athens and UGA, The Ivywood Barn might be just what you’re looking for. An Athens favorite for breakfast, Mama’s Boy, is less than a mile away. And, How ‘Bout Them Dawgs!, we’re only a short 5 mile drive to Sanford Stadium. We hope you enjoy the large deck, patio and fire pit as well as the comfy king size bed, large shower, sitting and kitchen area. The barn, deck, patio and fire pit are all for your private use. You may come and go as you please. We will usually be around, as our house is on the property, but you will have a private code on the door to the barn. We live in a secluded part of our neighborhood and love that our house is surrounded by trees. Less than a mile away are the shops at The Falls including Mama’s Boy, The Falls for fine dining, The Oaks event space (connected to The Falls restaurant), The Olive Basket, Elle Cece’s Salon & Spa, Mia Bella Clothing and The Treehouse for a great sandwich, bottle of wine or a fine cigar to celebrate a big Dawgs victory! You can park in front of our house in one of the two spaces designated for The Ivywood Barn. The path, which is lit at night, will lead you right to the front door. We’re located 5 miles from Sanford Stadium. We would recommend a ride share service, such as Uber, to get there. To get to the shops and restaurants at The Fall is a 20 minute walk or a quick two minute drive from the barn. WE’RE ALSO OFFERING THE IVYWOOD BARN AS AN EVENT SPACE.
