Perfect for people wanting to escape the city, but still within 3 minutes drive to the shops. Whether you're after a romantic couples retreat or time away with your family, The Sanctuary has something for everyone. There's even a dedicated toy room for the kids! Please note there are no parties, excessive noise or gatherings allowed here, it's a very quiet area. Only 35 minutes from the CBD. There is wildlife absolutely everywhere. This is acreage living at its finest with all the creature comforts. Our property is absolutely perfect for your getaway from the rat race of society but not too far to be isolated. The house is perfectly equipped for all your needs for your home away from home. Perfect for the kids!!! Pets must be confirmed with us before booking. The house consists of 4 bedrooms + sleepout and 2 living area, a play area for the kids, huge kitchen just perfect for making family meals, and lots of space to enjoy. You cannot even hear the traffic here, just the breeze in the trees and the chatting birds. The house is equipped with everything you need for the perfect stay. PLEASE NOTE THAT PEOPLE SOMETIMES ENTER THE PROPERTY TO CONDUCT MAINTENANCE, SUCH AS CHECKING THE POOL AND SEPTIC SYSTEM. THEY ARE USUALLY IN AND OUT OF THERE QUICKLY BUT ARE REQUIRED TO ENTER THE PROPERTY TO MAINTAIN IT. The entire house and 5 acres is yours. We live 5 minutes down the road if you need anything but we offer a self check in and won't bother you any time during your stay. The house is very secure for children, but the dam is not fenced so you must watch your children and pets outside at all times. There's an IGA, bakery and some restaurants 3 minutes up the road. The surrounding bush-land is just gorgeous, you can spend days exploring the area and wildlife, head to Samford for lunch, the deer sanctuary to get up close and personal with some lovely animals, along with lots of other kids activities close by, or adults can enjoy many hikes, romantic sunset dinners over the fire and the peacefulness of this amazing area. You will need a car to get around in the area as there is no public transport close by. Please confirm when you send the initial message that you have read and agree to our house rules. There is no excessive noise, music or parties allowed on the property, it's only suitable for quiet people as it's a sanctuary and we would like it to remain this way. We ask that you please take care of our house as if it were your own. Pets must be approved by us, please advise us if you have any pets that will be with you for your stay. No one other than the guests on the booking are to enter the property. The house is suitable for 6 to 7 adults and 3-4 children only. If you have a different ratio to this, please let us know in your initial message.
