Charming and bright stone house in the historic center of Suvereto near the Rocca. The house is in a strategic position between the sea and the hills. In 15 minutes you reach the sea and the beautiful Gulf of Baratti. First floor mezzanine, welcoming entrance, two bathrooms complete with shower. Open plan living room with kitchen, two bedrooms. The house is located in the heart of the old village, near the Rocca, in a pedestrian area with limited traffic and therefore in a quiet but strategic area. Nearby you will find the historic piazza of Suvereto with its bell tower and Piazza delle Dame, home to historical re-enactments and medieval festivals. Leaving the house you will find yourself immersed in the life of the town: small shops, taverns, restaurants and wine bars, all immersed in a pleasant hilly climate in summer, and in the typicality and flavors of the wild boar festival in the winter months. the whole apartment I am available to talk with guests for reservations. Suvereto is included in the national circuits of the cities of wine, oil and the cities of Slow Food. The typical dishes to taste are those based on wild boar meat. During the year there will be various festivals with historical and medieval re-enactments. The most important is held in December, and is the wild boar festival, but even during the year in the old stone houses many restaurants offer local cuisine with wild boar sausage, wild boar with olives, pappardelle with wild boar. For those who love nature from Suvereto it is possible to make excursions on foot, by bike and on horseback, along the numerous paths that plunge into the greenery and in the park of Montioni. The nature of the place is typically Tuscan and along secondary roads you come to wonderful villages such as Sassetta (where the thermal baths of the Cerreta are also found) and Monterotondo marittimo (summer venue for the Maremma tortello festival and the famous pig and sheep festival ). For culture lovers there are two museums: the San Giusto Museum of Sacred Art and the Doll Museum. Suvereto is an architectural pearl from the ancient city walls, the imposing fortress, the paved alleys, the historic town hall, the church of San Giusto and the cloister of San Francesco. In addition to food, the area is famous for its DOC wines.
