Makes a great base for access to a number of attractions such as Cotswold Way, National Trust properties and other family friendly activities. The cottage has its own private, enclosed garden with off road parking for 2 cars. While we do live next door, we do hope you enjoy the privacy this country cottage provides. Apart from hopefully meeting you on your arrival, we will not bother you unless you need us. While the nearest village of Wickwar is about 20 minutes away on foot. You can drive there within about 5mins. The immediate surroundings consist of farmland and a few houses. There are a number of footpaths nearby for those who enjoy walking. The local village of Wickwar is within walking distance, however during the winter months this can be challenging due lack of street lights. Having your own vehicle is the most reliable way of getting around the area. This cottage is in a rural setting located down a single lane road. Having a car is essential. The area is popular with cyclists, you are welcome to bring bikes with you as we do have a small shed where they can be stored. The local footpaths do cross farm land, so appropriate footwear is advisable.
