La Porcherie is a converted piggery that has been tastefully renovated with its stone walls & charm, decorated to a very high standard which also has its own Spanish BBQ. The property has its own patio area, with open views onto the garden, pool, & french countryside. Situated in a small farming hamlet but within a stones throw from Saint Yrieix La Perche, a historical town with plenty of restaurants, wine bars & local market. Perfect location for couples to unplug & unwind & discover France. La Porcherie is spacious yet cosy, 68 sq metres, with bedroom located on the mezzanine deck upstairs. The property has a large wood burner for cooler nights, as well as radiators. The Kitchen is fully equipped with Gas oven & Hob, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, espresso machine, and everything you would expect to enable you dine comfortably at home. a perfect location for couples. We are Unique in the fact we are in a small farming hamlet but just minutes from a beautiful historical town I think we offer the best of both worlds of escape and yet sight see. La Porcherie has its own private parking. You have access to a large inground pool and Pool bar, that is purely for guest use only, and is shared only with our sister property La Grange. La Porcherie has its own Spanish BBQ and evening area, as well as its own patio overlooking the beautiful garden grounds. La Porcherie also has access to the guest laundry room, which is complete with coin operated washing machine and tumble dryer. We give our guests space to enjoy the beautiful settings in privacy, but are on hand if required for any assistance or support if so required. The property is known as La Retreat It is exactly that ...a place to unwind and enjoy The local historical town is 6 mins away offering restaurants , quirky wine bars , swimming lake, local french Market and much much more. In addition La Porcherie is located within the golden triangle of the beautiful Dordogne region (12 mins by car) and Correze, 15 mins. The best way to get about is by car Bikes for cycling and exploring the local area are available free of charge. And the town is on the main train line to Limoges with direct line to Paris The large inground swimming pool, (10 m x 5 m) is shared with La Grange, however there is an array of seating, sun loungers and parasols for all, situated on a large surrounding pool patio, as well as private areas within the garden for shade and relaxation. A small children's play area, with swing, Adult sized trampoline, and child's Wendy house is located safely at the bottom of the garden away from the swimming pool area.
