Outside there’s a private patio & fire-pit area. Located in the High Weald, it is the ideal base for exploring Kent & Sussex. Hidden from the main house you can find privacy to relax, drink local wine & unwind. 1x friendly quiet dog allowed. (Must be friendly with other dogs). £15 additional cleaning fee required on arrival. Interior: King sized bed ~ linens provided. Shower room ~ towels and soaps provided. Kitchen area ~ well equipped with complimentary coffee, milk, bread and local wine. Sitting area ~ two comfortable armchairs and side table. Linens and towels provided. Entertainment: ~ Record player and classic vinyls. ~DAB radio/Bluetooth speaker. ~ Books. ~ Scrabble. ~ Cards. ~ Chess set. Please note The Little Barn is relaxing, rural retreat and there is no TV or Wi-Fi. Exterior: Private patio with table and chairs. Fire-pit area with lounge chairs ~ logs provided. Wider shared grounds. A very large hedge separates the Little Barn from view of the main house providing privacy. Parking: Parking available on drive for 1x car. Optional extra: ~ Make-your-own-dinner-hampers for 2x guests For £20 I am happy to provide a hamper containing local ingredients for you to cook a meal. E.G. Local meat with pasta and local veg ratatouille. To guarantee this please request ahead of stay. Guests have private access to the Little Barn annexe and patio. The Little Barn is located in the grounds of the main house. Parking is provided on site. We live on site in the main house. We will leave you to enjoy your stay but if you need anything please ask. Goudhurst is one of the most picturesque villages of the High Weald. We are surrounded by award winning vineyards and beautiful country pubs for you to explore. We are located a 3 min drive to the centre of Goudhurst. 3 min drive to Marden station where trains run direct to London in under 50mins. Taxi can be arranged to collect/drop-off from station. Other places to visit. Lower Ladysden Farm shop and cafe 10 min walk across fields. Hush Heath Vineyard 5 min drive from property. ~ Free parking at the property. ~ Due to rural location, we recommend travelling by car so you can enjoy all the local sights and amenities. ~ Coming from London? Catch a train to Marden station (4 min drive away) and pre-book a taxi from Elba Private Hire. ~ Via country lanes and/or across fields you can walk to Lower Ladysden farm shop/cafe and Balfour Hush Heath Vineyard. Both serve lunch options and local wines/beer. Please note: ~ No Wi-Fi. ~ Two friendly small male dogs on site. ~We aim to keep us (inc. dogs) out of your way to enjoy your stay with maximum privacy. ~ 1x friendly quiet dog is allowed (must be friendly to other male dogs). ~ For dog visitors a £15 additional cleaning charge required on arrival. ~ We kindly ask that dogs are not allowed on the bed.
