Self contained annex with separate entrance and all required facilities This cosy, period, holiday cottage is situated next to the owners’ home in this delightful rural area of the Welsh Borders, on the road between Knighton and Newton. The area is a walker’s haven with numerous walks straight from your doorstep, as well as the Offa’s Dyke Path and Glyndwr’s Way being close by and also the Radnor Cycle Route for those who enjoy cycling. There are many places of historical interest in the surrounding towns and villages, visit Ludlow, Leominster, Newtown, Knighton, Kington and Brecon, all within easy driving distance, also enjoy Builth Wells, home to the renowned Royal Welsh Show. Shop and Post Office next door providing daily provisions with the local pub serving good food 100 yards away (no food served on Mondays). Ideally a car is required if you plan to travel afar, if you wish to walk only that is possible as there are numerous beautiful walks accessible directly from the cottage. There are other rooms available in the owners home that can be accessed by an internal door on the first floor of the The Old Smithy, this is normally locked if not required.
