Enjoy some downtime in the adirondacks, have happy hour in the barn, or snuggle up for a movie night - it's all waiting for you. Make this farmstay your homebase to explore Western Washington - the ferries to Seattle and Edmonds are just a mile away, and the Olympic Peninsula and National Park are just a 20 minute drive. The entire house was recently renovated. This is not a primary residence and the entire space is just for you - so no weird surprises behind these closet doors! The king and queen bedrooms have new mattresses. Airbeds are available if needed. The well equipped kitchen is ready for you to cook at your leisure. We've provided everything you should need to feel right at home. Dine at the 6 person kitchen table or the farm table in the barn. Enjoy a cozy night in watching Netflix or Prime upstairs in the loft - Roku guest access is provided for you to link to your own streaming accounts. The kids will enjoy watching from the nook behind the sectional. The barn is a beautiful indoor/outdoor space and the entire first floor of the barn is available for your use. It's perfect for meals, games, and lounging. Relax outside soaking up the idyllic scenery from the adirondacks on the lawn and pick blackberries in the summertime. Extra Perks: - Easy keyless/contactless check in. We'll provide you with a unique, secure code to access the house on the day of your arrival. - Free Wifi - speed 3 Gbps (gotta love rural internet - it's fast enough for streaming video) - Portable Bose bluetooth speaker - Washer and Dryer - Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash - Kitchen basics: Olive oil, salt/pepper, spices, baking soda/powder - Greengard Certified mattresses - Family-friendly: outlet covers abound, and the bonus room off the master bedroom is a great area for letting the littles sleep (no blackout curtains necessary). High chair, small stool, wooden toys, board books available. Airbeds available for older children. There’s some wiggle room on the occupancy for children. We are available if needed, just call or text. There is an outbuilding on the property that is a private workspace and we may be in and out at times during your stay. The building is secluded on the property from the main house though so it's you likely won't even notice. This is a quiet, peaceful community. Absolutely no parties or loud gatherings. We're located in a rural neighborhood just up the hill from downtown Kingston and the waterfront. The area is quiet and peaceful, yet only a short drive (or bike ride) to restaurants, coffee shops, marina, and parks. Wildlife abounds - we frequently see deer, eagles and hawks, rabbits, and coyote around the property. Located on the scenic Kitsap Penninsula. Kingston is about an hour and a half drive from Sea-Tac via Tacoma, or through Edmonds on the Washington State Ferry system. A car is recommended for getting around, though we are easily accessible by bike also (about a mile from the Kingston ferry dock). Downtown Seattle is directly accessible on weekdays by the Kitsap Transit Fast Ferry (walk or bike-on only) - a 40 minute ride each way. To the west, we are about an hour drive from the Olympic National Park and Olympic National Forest. Alternatively if you prefer to stay local, Kitsap Peninsula has a lot to offer for day trips, hiking, biking, boating and camping adventures.
