1874 Victorian Close to Downtown

Our home was built in 1874 and reflects the architecture and style of the Victorian era. We have eclectic taste in furnishings, art and music. Our cats co-host with us. They are curious and friendly. Our home is clean and tidy. The perfect place to live while on an internship or an extended stay in Akron. Hour house is warm, cozy, and just minutes from downtown and the expressway. There are many restaurants and stores near by. We offer our guests a safe environment were they are free to share our home for the night or an extended stay. We have on site laundry, fully equiped kitchen, friendly cats, music room and off street parking. We respect your privacy and encourage independent living, but feel free to stop and say hello or have a chat. West Hill is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Akron. It is an ecclectic area between downtown and trendy Highland Square. Access to the towpath is just a minutes away, as are many resturants, night clubs/ bars, art venues, churches, and businesses. The Cuyahoga Valley is right down the street. Lyft and Uber are popular with our guests, but some have used the bus or bicycle to get around. On occasion and schedules permitting we have offered to drive our guests to and from work, the air port, or invited them on shopping trips. We have bicycles to use. We encourage our guests to make friends in Akron. Akron is full of super cool people. Unfortunately, we cannot acomodate your friends for overnight or extended stays. We reserve the right to meet anyone unapproved by airbnb before they come into our home.
