A good range of village bars/restaurants to choose from, all year round, plus a free bus service to all other Meribel villages. The chalet is newly renovated to a high specification. The accommodation is set over the ground floor and can accommodate up to 8 guests. There are 3 bedrooms: the first is a master double with en-suite bathroom. There is a second double with shared bathroom. The third bedroom is a bunk room with room for four adults or kids. Access to, and use of, the garden floor and garden. Parking space for up to 2 vehicles. Easy access from Geneva, Lyon, Chambery and Grenoble airports, and walking distance to all village amenities and the gondola lift to Meribel Centre Chaudanne. Les Allues is a charming village with direct lift access into Chaudanne, at the heart of the Meribel and 3 Valleys ski area. As well as four bars and restaurants to choose from, the village has a local shop open for groceries, a ski school to book lessons, and a ski hire shop, all open 7 days per week. Unlike many other ski stations, Les Allues is a working village with a permanent community, making this a delightful destination year-round for all season mountain activities, from skiing to hiking, cycling to paragliding, or just sitting in the sunny garden with a book and enjoying the views and fresh mountain air. Alpine paradise! 3 minute walk to the centre of the village. Free lift and bus service to other Meribel villages. Free parking. Possible to ski back to the village when there is fresh snow. Hiking opportunities abound, right from the doorstep. The chalet is equipped with local information to help you make the most of your stay, and I'm on hand to answer questions and help you enjoy your time in this beautiful location. Nearest airport is Chambery-Aix (1h10 drive), but there are more frequent flights into Geneva and Lyon (both approx 2 hours drive). The nearest train station is Moutiers and there are bus and transfer services to the village from the bottom of the valley. That said, it is handy to have a car here for easier access to the ski lift with skis & boots etc (free parking).
