There are slippery tree routes at the base of the tree. The wind makes the tree sway so the treehouse does too. Staying here requires some common sense and self risk assessment on your part. This is NOT a suitable venue for those who would not be able to exit the treehouse safely and quickly should there be a freak lightning storm or severe gales. Such events are extremely unlikely but guests booking this accommodation should not do so without a working smart phone which allows them to keep an eye on the weather forecast and vacate the accommodation should a lighting storm or high winds (35mph+) be predicted. DO NOT book this accommodation unless you know you are able to bring a working smartphone on which you will be able to get regular weather updates. This is for your own safety. Should guests have to vacate we have back up accommodation available should the need arise. Coven Treehouse overlooks Alden valley with our free range hen house directly below. Fab sunrise and sunset views can be seen from the windows and when you lie in bed you can see where the sky meets the horizon and the branches of the trees. There's a bookcase with a fab selection of books, all the Harry Potters and a load of recent books from great authors. Its not a swap shelf so please leave our books on the shelf for others to enjoy after your stay. The treehouse is draft proofed and insulated and there is a heater so it can be kept toasty warm and cosy in there easily. Coven Treehouse is exclusively yours for the duration of your booking. You will also have a private WC and sink for your sole use. There will always be someone about on the farm to ask any questions you might have. My elderly retired farming parents live at the farm so with covid in mind - please do not attempt to find us/ knock on at the farm house as they are shielding. Give us a call and we will answer questions/come and meet you to resolve any queries. No question too small - we want you to have a fabulous time so do contact us any time, day or night if you need help with anything. We will rock up with a mask on if we need to come in your accomodation to help you for whatever reason. WALKS: There are tonnes of amazing walks straight from the farm.
