The dual aspect ‘studio apartment’ room overlooks our private garden to the rear, having French doors with Juliette balcony. It benefits from a king size bed, lounge area with small sofa, TV and kitchenette (with fridge, kettle, toaster & microwave), in addition to an en suite with corner shower. Complimentary tea/coffee, milk, bottled water and a small selection of cereal & jams are provided for your enjoyment. Conveniently located close to M42, M40, Blythe Valley Business Park, Solihull & NEC, Hockley Heath is a great choice for an overnight stay when visiting the area. Guests have sole access to & use of the self contained guest suite. Access is via our front door & communal stairs, however, once you have arrived & closed &/or locked your ‘front door’ behind you, the space offers total privacy. We will be available to help with your travel arrangements and make recommendations for places to visit. We enjoy meeting and chatting to our guests, however we also realise that privacy, peace and quiet are important to everyone. Whilst we are new to Airbnb, we are not new to sharing our home with visitors. We are delighted to say that we enjoyed letting our room to the same gentleman for a period of 4 years on a private basis in addition to welcoming European & International visitors at various other times. Hockley Heath is a small friendly village with great local amenities. There is a small grocery store/newsagents (One Stop), Post Office, village pub (The Wharf Tavern), Miller and Carter restaurant, Indian restaurant/takeaway, Chinese takeaway, Fish and Chip shop, dentist, hairdressers and butchers amongst other small businesses. Ideally situated close to the Jct 4 of M42 & Jct 16 of M40, the M5 & M6 are easily accessible. Dorridge train station where you can catch services to London, Birmingham or Stratford Upon Avon is just an 8 minute drive away. Local bus services to Birmingham, Stratford Upon Avon and Solihull are just a 5 minute walk from our home. Our 21 year old Son is home from University from time to time and his room is directly below the guest suite. When staying with us, you may on occasion hear our him in his room, however he is used to being considerate of our guests. We have one small dog called Tilly who does not moult/shed. She is hypoallergenic and very quiet other than when greeting new guests, visitors or the postman. She is averse to cats and barking may on occasion be heard when our neighbours cats cross our front lawn!
