Cosy, 1-bedroom + lounge (which can be turned into a 2nd bedroom, both with a bed of 140X200 cm) apartment, with separate entrance to the main house. It is ideal for couples, a family with kids or for a group of up to 4 friends if you want a quiet environment after the noise of the city center. To arrive to the center of Budapest takes 20-30 minutes by bus and metro or by car. Free parking is available on the premises. Feel free to use the main terrace and the whole garden as you wish; just to unwind, to enjoy a BBQ or even to learn how to cook the famous Hungarian goulash soup outdoors in bogracs (iron pot)! I’m happy to show you the tricks of Hungarian cooking and to give hints and tips to help schedule your stay in Hungary. The apartment is in the annex to the main house. You can use the apartment with separate entrance and fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, a double bed and a sofa bed (also double). Guests can use the main terrace and the whole garden (with the BBQ and garden furniture) as and when they wish. Free parking is available on the premises for 1 car. I speak English, German, Italian and a little French (and of course Hungarian), I am happy to help with anything you need and give you first-hand experience of the famous Hungarian hospitality. The property is in the leafy suburbs of Budapest (on the south side of Buda). A supermarket is a few minutes’ walk away and Campona shopping centre is 5 minutes by bus (bus stop opposite the house) where you can find numerous shops, Tropicarium and Legopark – perfect adventure for both adults and children. Memento park (an open-air museum dedicated to monumental statues from Hungary’s communist era) is 1.4km away from the house. Bus 114 with a direct route to the city centre (Moricz Zsigmond korter) stops a minute away from the apartment. Alternatively you can walk to the end of the street (approx 4 minutes) to catch bus 150 (or 101B and 101E on weekdays) to reach the underground line M4 in 15 minutes. The property is a few minutes car ride away from M0 with access to other motorways towards Balaton, Vienna, Croatia and the Eastern part of Hungary. My cleaning activity complies with the guidelines set by Airbnb. We have a friendly Labrador (Molly) and a cat (Bianca). The house is equipped with washing machine, hair dryer, TV, free WIFI, kettle, coffee plunger, I provide bed linen, bath towels and kitchen towels.
