Cherry Tree Lodge, a stylish space located 25 mins walk from the picturesque & historic Bradgate Park. Anstey is 10 mins walk with a regular bus service to Leicester. 10 mins drive to M1 J21. A comfortable private living space for up to 3 people within our house. Lovely patio with bistro set. There is a private entrance & parking space for 2 cars. TV with Netflix, clothes storage, fridge with icebox, kettle, toaster, microwave, a dining set & wine glasses. Desk & chair supplied on request. Our space has everything you need for a short stay! Double bed with new mattress plus a sofa-bed & blackout curtains. 55inch TV with Netflix, kitchenette including a kettle, toaster & microwave. We supply tea, coffee & sugar along with salt & pepper. We provide a set of cutlery along with plates, bowls, cups & glasses. You don’t even need to worry about washing up, our dishwasher has that covered! Full length mirror - essential! The en-suite has a toilet, sink and shower enclosure with a rain shower head as well as a regular adjustable head. Iron & ironing board available on request. Desk & chair can be provided on request. Self-check in via a key safe. The entrance is at the rear of the house. The space is accessed through a double wooden gate behind which is one secure parking space. Another car can be parked on the drive next to the bushes. We live in the property but your space is completely private. We’re happy to chat & offer any locals suggestions you may need. Feel free to contact us if there is anything you need and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. We love being able to walk into the village to grab a coffee or a bite to eat. For kids there is a lovely play area on a park less than 10 minutes walk. It’s also easy to jump on a bus to go into Leicester where you will find the Highcross Shopping Centre, Curve theatre, Space Centre, King Richard ||| Museum & lots more! Anstey is located in Charnwood, a north-west district of Leicestershire. You can walk into Anstey village where you will find a Co-Op, Londis, chemist, numerous takeaways and a Michelin star Italian Restaurant named SAPORI. Bradgate Park boasting historic ruins and wild deer, is around a 20-30 minute walk, and can be enjoyed by all ages. There is a fabulous choice of pubs, cafes & restaurants nearby. We’re located 4 miles from Leicester city centre and there is a regular bus service which runs from a stop a few minutes walk away. Loughborough is 7 miles away. Taxis are readily available, Uber operates around here too. A lovely outdoor space is being created, images to follow & ready from April 2022. There is one step (24cm) to access the patio area to enter the lodge. The lodge is at the rear of the property and we are currently installing a screen divider for your privacy as it overlooks the garden. We are a family of 4 with a child and a dog, so please expect some noise, similar to being in a hotel. Noise is kept to a minimum on weekday evenings.
