There are lots of residents from different countries. But my residence is little bit apart from the center of Zeytinburnu and on the seaside. Zeytinburnu is also a location that has many transportation options. And its a common meeting point which is really close to historical places like Sultanahmet (12 minutes ) , shopping destinations like Bakirkoy (10 minutes) , Aqua Florya Mall (16 minutes) , İstanbul Aquarium (16 minutes) , Taksim Square (15-20 minutes and many other destinations. You can check our host guide for more detailed options. To get to most of the places explained above , you can use the Main Metor Line Called Marmaray which is 7 minutes to the apartment. Name of the station is called " Zeytinburnu". That metro line goes through Asia to European side of İstanbul There is a spectacular seaside where you can see a beautiful view during daylight and citylights at night. Also there will be lots of ships that will be waiting to sail away.They will make a visual show with their lights at night. About a kilometer away you can see lots of shops for leather and furs. Zeytinburnu area is well known place for both wholesalers of leather & Fur. There are also some retail shops if you are interested. Keep in mind that Turkish textile firms are among the best in the whole World. Zeytinburnu is located around the historical walls that Roman Empire built. There is a historical door called " Altınkapı " which is a place to see that is just 6 minutes by driving. You should definetely check it out if you are history enthusiast. You can ask for a taxi 7/24 at the main entrance. It will usually take 1-2 minutes for your cab to arrive. Also the metro station is just 1km (10 minutes walking) away from the building.
