Spacious modern ground floor-self contained annexe. Comprising 1 bedroom with ensuite, lounge & kitchen. Fully furnished & well equipped for two people. The annexe is adjoined to our home by a small lobby with your own entrance. The kitchen is well equipped, fridge, oven,microwave, coffee machine, kettle etc. I provide complimentary Tea, Coffee, Sugar, Milk & Cereals. A TV in lounge and bedroom. French doors from bedroom open onto a decked patio with Bistro set for our guests use. Ideal for weekend breaks or people looking for longer term trips for business etc. The whole self-contained annexe is yours alone for your stay. Access is by the side gate of our property. Guests are welcome to use the small garden at the back of the annexe which can be exited from French doors from the bedroom. This has a small decked area with a bistro set for our guests use. Please feel free to text/message me with any enquiries you may have. The village of Alresford ( Essex) is a good location for neighbouring Wivenhoe & Essex University. A short drive away are the many coastal towns & beaches, including Frinton-on-sea, Clacton, Walton-on -naze & the Cinque port of Brightlingsea. The Historic town of Colchester & its Castle, shops, restaurants & cinema are approx. 6 miles away. Harwich Port for trips to Europe is about a 30 min drive away. Beth Chatto's Gardens are in nearby Elmstead. Nestled within Constable Country is Flatford Mill & Dedham with lovely walks along the river. For those wishing to explore further are the towns of Felixstowe, Woodbridge, Lavenham etc are about 40-50 min drive away. Local facilities include the Pointer public house. Chinese & an Indian take-away. Post Office & 2 convenience stores . Fish & chips/kebab & pizza take-away. All within a 5 min walk from the property. There are many countryside walks along public footpaths. Alresford Creek has a footpath to Wivenhoe & Brightlingsea. A 5 min walk from the property is a mainline train station to London/Liverpool St also Clacton & Walton. There is also a bus service which stops at Alresford as it passes through from Brightlingsea going to Wivenhoe, the University &Colchester. The accommodation is strictly for 2 people only.
