Whole house, balconies, decks and front and rear gardens are available solely for guest use, apart from store area under house and a couple of cupboards which will be locked during your stay. Gaze at the water as you lounge in this character filled lake house, on the upper/lower decks, from around the chiminea or perhaps from under the dappled shade of mature trees, enjoying the lake vistas, as cockatoos, magpies and kookaburras warble above. With 500 km of shoreline and 7 times the volume of Sydney Harbour, we maintain water even when the lake is a little down. If you can drag yourself away, the region has so much to offer apart from the obvious water sports: wineries, snow skiing at Victoria's most renowned snowfields at Mt Buller, esteemed wineries, great restaurants and horse-riding. Then there are other attractions like The Castle from the iconic Aussie film, Gough's Bay Maze, the Mansfield Zoo and unique towns of Jamison, Kevington and Wood's Point. Beautiful walks and bike rides around the lake are at your front doorstep and the Great Victorian Rail Trail is just one kilometre down the road for those who wish to venture further afield. A leisurely stroll across the walk bridge is a must to see the lake in all its glory from a bird's eye view. There is also a public bus to/from Melbourne and to Mansfield which stops in Bonnie Doon several times each day.
