LIVING ROOM & KITCHEN The bright open-plan living room/kitchen has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The living area has a large sofa (which can transform into a 140 x 200 double bed to accommodate more guests), room darkening external slats, flat-screen TV, workspace to catch up on emails, breakfast bar, access to the terrace where you’ll find a dining table and chairs and kitchen with everything you need for an easy self-catering holiday, including: • Dolce Gusto coffee maker • Toaster • Kettle • Microwave • Ceramic hob • Juice squeezer • Blender BEDROOM Master bedroom with king-sized bed (160x200cm), nightstands with reading lights, room darkening external slats and plenty of wardrobe space to hang your clothes and feel at home. There’s also direct access to the terrace. BATHROOM The bathroom has a walk-in shower, sink, toilet and hairdryer. LAUNDRY There is a private washing machine and space to dry your clothes on the roof of the building, which can be accessed by elevator. ★ Essentials available: Linen, Towels, Toilet paper, Kitchen paper, Shampoo, Shower gel, Hand soap, Cleaning products, Tea, Coffee, Sugar, Salt + Pepper, Cooking herbs + spices, Olive Oil. ★ Family friendly: Baby travel cot and Highchair. While you're staying here, the apartment and the terrace will be your private oasis. While we will not be at the apartment during your stay, feel free to contact us with any questions. We have a lot of local recommendations to share with you. You’ll find an illustrated guest information book in the apartment with some of our favourite places in the local area and beyond. Güímar is the perfect example of an authentic Canarian town: friendly and warm local people, traditional Canary homes, small streets lined with bars, cafes and restaurants, plazas where families gather and a local weekend farmer’s market where you can buy organic fresh fruit and vegetables from the surrounding farms and local homemade wine and sauces. In the town you’ll find all the essential amenities you could want, such as: petrol station, restaurants, supermarkets, local shops, pharmacy, children’s play park, church and more. Surrounded by a valley, you have spectacular mountain views from the town and you’re only 10 minutes’ drive to the local beach. Güimar has many beautiful mountain trails, an ethnographic museum of the Pyramids of Güimar, plus guachinches (typical Canary diners) and special restaurants. Güímar is easily accessed from the main TF-1 highway that stretches the south of the island and connects with the north, though there’s no site of the highway from the town. We strongly recommend hiring a car for your stay as it will give you much more independence and freedom to explore Tenerife at your own pace. You'll also be able to access all the secret beaches and amazing restaurants that we recommend in our guests' guidebook that is in the apartment. CICAR is a popular car hire company on the island. CAR Tenerife South Airport is approximately 30 minutes. Tenerife North Airport is approximately 30 minutes. Puertito de Güímar (local beach) is a 10-minute drive. Candelaria (coastal town with famous basilica) is a 15-minute drive. Radazul (coastal town well-known for diving, snorkeling and swimming) is a 17-minute drive. Santa Cruz de Tenerife (capital city) is a 25-minute drive away. Las Laguna (UNESCO World Heritate town) is a 30-minute drive away. El Médano (famous for wind and water sports) is a 30-minute drive away. National Park Las Cañadas del Teide is a 45-minute drive away. BUS Titsa is the local bus company that runs a great bus service all over the island. The buses in the Canary Islands are locally called guaguas (pronounced 'wahwahs'). You can buy multiple journey pass as the bus station, making it a very economical way to travel. There isn’t a direct bus from either airport to the apartment, you will have to change buses. CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT Check-in time is from 3pm and check-out is by 11am. Our housekeeper will arrive at 11am to begin cleaning for the next guest, unless we have agreed a later check-out with you. TOWELS & LINEN - We provide all bed linens. - We provide 1 bath towel and 1 hand towel per guests and 1 hand towel per bathroom. - If you stay for 7 days or more and would like a change of towels and linen, just let us know. PARKING On-street parking is available for free. FAMILIES We welcome families travelling with babies and can provide a baby cot and highchair on request. VACATION RENTAL DECREE All guests must provide their personal information, including passport numbers to comply with the current Vacation Rental Decree and thus offer a safe and well-organised stay.
