Ideal location, comfortable, self-contained unit

You'll feel at home in this comfortable and spacious guest suite. I used to work in the hospitality/tourism industry and as a family, we love to travel, so we want our guests to have the best possible experience at our home. The guest suite is the entire bottom floor of the house with it's own private entrance. One bedroom with KING size bed and plenty of wardrobe space. EXTRA large living/space with television, Foxtel and unlimited Internet. A third person (even a tall teenager/ adult) can comfortably sleep in the living room on the couch (it's 2m long). Additional linens are provided if you'd like to use that room for sleeping. Washing machine, family-sized fridge, kitchen basics (kettle, microwave, dishes, etc.) Bathroom with shower and separate toilet. Towels, extra sheets, pillows, blankets and toiletries provided. You are welcome to use the backyard, picnic table and BBQ. We do use this area as well, so you may see us in passing. Our sausage dog spends a lot of time in the yard, but she loves visitors and other dogs. You are welcome to spend time with her and she will love you instantly. There is a bus stop headed toward the city about 100m from our front door. Graceville train station is a 5 minute walk. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within 10-15 minutes walking distance. You can park in the side street opposite our block. We are a family of four. My husband and I work from home most days. My stepdaughter lives with us every other week. She is 11 and you may hear her occasionally practising her saxophone in the early evenings (if this is a problem due to having a small child or another conflict, let us know and we can reschedule things). And then our puppy Sox is very curious and friendly. We are happy to answer questions and visit with our guests if they are interested, but no pressure. If you don't initiate, we will leave you alone! :) Beautiful suburban neighbourhood with lots of parks and green space. Close to shops and restaurants. Located on Oxley Road. Best to park across the street. Bus stop within 100m going into the city. Graceville train station 5 minute walk from the house. Gold Coast is a 45 minute drive. Sunshine Coast is an easy 80 minute drive. The neighbourhood is beautiful with lots of parks and green spaces. We spend a lot of time walking in the area, which is very safe.
