Salt Haven - Beach side getaway

Coastal haven only meters from the beach, a place to unwind and relax. A short 3-min stroll to a breathtaking, uncrowded beach. Salt Haven is an older style 4 bedroom, with new coastal styled decor, just over an hour from Sydney and 1/2 hour from the heart of Newcastle. Located in a peaceful area, the beach at the end of the street, the lake a few minutes away, surrounded by water for swimming, boating and fishing, the perfect family getaway. We're taking extra care to disinfect between stays. Salt Haven is designed for sleeping in, late breakfasts and beach time. Generous kitchen space, comfortable lounge, alfresco dining area and even a teen/kids zone for reliving traditional games such as Jenga, Connect 4 and Scrabble to name a few. An older style main bathroom, a second bathroom and an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand for that true holiday feel. Undercover outdoor BBQ area, dining table, lounge setting & day bed for relaxing with family & friends. Ample parking on the property for your family cars and/or boat. Air Con for heating & cooling. Salt Haven is a quiet area, however, it's only a few minutes drive from Swansea, Belmont and Warners Bay where there are Cafe's, restaurants, and local clubs. Coles and Woolworths is 5 minutes away for all your holiday supplies. 15 mins drive to Charlestown Shopping centre and Westfields Kotara for serious shopping. Fabulous bike tracks to explore the area and a boat ramp 5 minutes away. Beach access and a golf course nearby. The break wall is perfect for an afternoon stroll or fishing. Driving around the area is easy however there are local buses if needed and a fabulous bike track for further exploring with your family or friends. We are proud to be a dog-friendly property however all booking must advise whether a dog will be accompanying them before arrival at Salt Haven. Dog owners are 100% responsible for picking up and disposing of their waste in a sealed bag in the rubbish bins. Dog not allowed on the furniture and must be house trained. 1 dog permitted.
