Piha Retreat with spa and epic sea views!

Enjoy the breathtaking elevated views over Karekare beach from your balcony. Access the Hilary trail right on our doorstep, or head to Piha and Karekare beaches for a dip in the ocean. Then come back and soak in the hot tub amongst the Tuis! Please note: Minimum stay of 3 nights over public holiday weekends and 4 nights over the Christmas period. Lovely family home with a spacious double bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe and bathroom en-suite (shower but no bath). Sofa bed in the lounge. Outstanding views from the deck and garden overlooking beach and bush. There is a sunny enclosed patio space with tables and chairs, barbecue and a spa for your use. Kitchen, dining room and living room for your own private use. You will have private use of the kitchen, dining room, living room, decks and garden area. The rest of the rooms in the house and the garage will be locked off but we will not be staying so you basically have private use of the house! We may not be available in person but we will be contactable via mobile phone at least once a day. Luan’s home is located in Piha, Auckland, New Zealand. Stunning beaches - we are a 5 minute drive from Karekare beach and Piha beach so take your pick! We are right on the Hilary trail and there are other bush walks five minutes drive from us. Piha village has a huge amount of variety for eating - not to mention the best chips in New Zealand at the local fish and chip shop! On top of that there is the Piha Cafe, the Surf Club, Bowling Club and RSA for your pick of eateries. There is also the Piha store, surf shop, library and post office. NO PUBLIC TRANSPORT. Drive is 45 minutes from Auckland. The Piha Surf Shuttle offers transport from Auckland City for $45 or from Auckland Airport for $75 for the first person. $10 for each extra person. (Phone Piha Surf Shuttle to book in advance). If you are driving there is no gas/petrol at Piha so fill up first. Please note that we have a dog so if you are allergic to dogs then our place may not be suitable for you. He is normally restricted to areas of the house not accessible to guests and we do a thorough clean but if you are sensitive to it then it still may affect you.
