Apartment in historical Villa La Rocca in the heart of Tuscan countryside, near the ancient Rocca di Carmignano. Located at the ground floor, this apartment is completely separated from the rest of the Villa and therefore permits to our guests a completely independent and pleasant stay. It includes also some shared spaces which will make your experience even more enjoyable, such as the courtyard and the gardens in the property, with a splendid view over the valley of Florence, Prato and Pistoia. A monastery in the 17th century, the house of a painter in the 1960s, a bed and breakfast today. Named after Carmignano's ancient fortress, our Villa "La Rocca" is a family-run bed and breakfast in the heart of the Tuscan countryside that offers marvellous views over Florence, Pistoia, and Prato. Built in the sixteen hundreds, the heritage-protected villa is full of history. It's an apartment renewed on a traditional Tuscan style. Outside of big cities, this comfortable accommodation will permit you to leave noise and crowds in order to spend some days surrounded by nature and silence. Part of a bigger complex (Villa La Rocca), it's a completely independent apartment. It is composed of an entrance corridor, a bathroom, a kitchen, a bedroom and a living room; the last one furnished of sofa-bed, so that it becomes perfect from different types of guests, from couple to groups. It's available also in winter, contrarily to the B&b, because it can easily be heated thanks to a pellet stove next to the bedroom and a chimney in the kitchen. I am living with my children and my parents in another portion of the villa ! Therefore we are always at your disposal for any request and need when possible . What I like in the vicinity: A part from the wonderful beautiful tuscan cities like Florence, Siena, Lucca, Pisa ...this is what I like to visit in the area of our bnb : The village of Carmignano and especially the ancient fortress "la Rocca" on the top of the hill with its magnificent view by day and by night ; the vien and wine in Carnignano, Etruscan Archeological Museum Artimino, Artimino little medieval village with Medici Villa; the Medici villa in Poggio a Caiano; Vinci : Leonardo’s city and museum, just 20 min by car from Bnb La Rocca! The center of Carmignano is walking reachable in 5 minutes. In Carmignano you can find a pharmacy , few grocery stores, good restaurants and pizzeria, tobaccos etc. . The bus stop is 500 mt far from the bnb .
