Elder-flower Cottage

This sweet cottage is nestled in the garden with its own outdoor bathroom. The bath is a fully functional room with a large claw foot bath to relax in at the end of your busy day. We have just finished newly renovating and painting the cottage. You have your own private balcony to sit and enjoy the garden or walk among the animals and see a self sufficient farm in action. Tea and coffee making facilities are also in your room. Light breakfast included. Time to unplug!! Then Elder flower Cottage is for you. No NBN here that is for the city, but there is so much more to do.... Relax in the bath, go for a walk in our prize winning garden..... Maybe you would like to bring your favorite dvd and watch it on the outdoor screen under the stars. Bring some marshmallows to cook over the fire pit. Here at Elderflower Cottage you get to experience the peace and quiet of the country yet we are close to the cafes that Toowoomba has to offer. May-be you would like to explore the Lockyer Valley as we are only 25mins to Gatton and in the heart of some of the most fertile and productive land in Queensland. Gardens are yours to walk, sit and enjoy. I am home most days and am happy to help make your stay enjoyable. We are close to Toowoomba and the Lockyer Valley. There is a cafe 5mins down the road that is open Fri-Sun for lunches.... You need a car to get here. There is a pushbike for those wanting to ride the country roads. MEALS....... Hot breakfast may be ordered $15 per person. Menu Breakfast..... Omelette from our farm fresh eggs. Bacon, eggs and toast. Main Meals may also be ordered Price $25 per person. Goats cheese and spinach pie. ( we make our own cheese here on farm and spinach is picked fresh from our vege garden) Roast chicken and seasonal greens. Chicken is pasture feed and local. Greens from vege garden. Cheese boards available $20 for 2 people. All meals to be ordered 3 days before book in date. Outdoor Movies..... If wanting to watch a DVD on the outdoor screen please let us know in advance. Bring your own DVDs or choose from our collection.. Fire pit with plenty of wood.
