Entire top floor & breakfast nr Dover & Cbury!

Entire top floor bedroom with en-suite. A double bed and small double sofa bed, with plenty of room left over - perfect for families! We also offer a continental breakfast box in the room. Dover ferry port is a 15 min drive away. EuroTunnel is a 20 min drive away and Eurostar at Ashford International is 40 minutes. *We use a hospital-grade UV-C light in our accommodation to kill 99.9% of bacteria and viruses (including Covid-19)*. We have both received the Covid-19 vaccines. The entire top floor bedroom and en-suite is available, with tea, coffee and toiletries provided. We have air conditioning installed in the room to keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter. We offer a light continental breakfast box for guests together with a selection of complimentary drinks in the mini fridge. There is also a microwave, plates, bowls and eco-friendly cutlery for guests' sole use. There is a double bed and a small double sofa bed so is suitable for families, friends and groups. We also provide a single folding bed with mattress and also an air mattress, as extra beds, if required and booking for 4 or more people. As standard the room is set up with the double and the sofa bed as a sofa. Please note there is no divide - it is one large room. The room best caters for groups of 2-4 people to allow for more space however if you are using the room just as a base to put your head down, and would be out most of the time, it can accommodate 5. We are happy for babies and toddlers to stay but please note that we do not provide a cot. The room has a 42" LCD TV, Sky Q and Sky Cinema and also a Wii if you are feeling energetic. There is a DVD player with a selection of DVDs which are suitable for adults, families and children. Listen to your favourite music with the smart tablet. High speed WiFi is also available for you to use. We are pet friendly and have two very lively, young dogs who are both friendly and love a cuddle (but who will bark when you arrive!) and two cats who you might see peeking out from behind the curtain or wandering down the stairs! We can sometimes accommodate a check in earlier than 4pm - please ask and we will see what we can do (although not guaranteed). For a small fee, we can provide access to a washing machine and tumble dryer. Please let us know if you require this. We have an EV charger available at an additional cost for Electric or Hybrid vehicles. We are committed to deep-cleaning between each guest and have purchased a UV-C deep cleansing light which kills 99.9% of bacteria and viruses. We also use bleach based products to deep clean the bathrooms and common areas, including stair rails, door handles and keys. Access to the kitchen is limited to use of the washing machine/tumble dryer only. A microwave is provided within the room for guests' sole use. Access to the top floor bedroom through the main house. There is ample free parking nearby. Guests can also park 1 car on our driveway. We will be available throughout your stay if you need us but will leave you to carry on with your day. We live on the outskirts of the new build development in a quiet cul de sac which makes it peaceful. If you don't want to go too far afield, there is a large Co-op in the centre of the village, a 10-15 minute walk away. There is also a Post Office, beauty salon, pet shop, doctors surgery and pharmacy and a few cafes and take aways. There are also some lovely walks just at the end of the cul de sac where you can walk in fields with or without pets. Canterbury is a short drive away and has all the usual facilities and shops that a large City has. There is a train station in the village, a short 5 minute drive away which goes to Canterbury or Dover with connections to London. There is also free parking at the train station. There are bus services in the village which go to Canterbury, for connections to Dover, Ashford, Folkestone and Margate. For those with pets, there are some beautiful nature walks nearby and some within ancient woodland. Please note that as we are a village location, we aren't in the centre of Canterbury so if you are reliant on public transport, please be prepared to have a bit of a longer journey. We have plenty of free parking for those driving. We do have pets who are part of our family and live in the house. Though they will not go upstairs into your accommodation, they may be downstairs with us so please be comfortable being around pets. I will always try to shut the dogs away when you come downstairs. Use of the kitchen is limited to use of the washing machine only. It cannot be used for cooking. There is a microwave provided in the room for guests sole use. Earliest check in time is 4pm and latest check in time is 9pm. Outside of these times is by prior agreement only and cannot be guaranteed.
