Exceptionally cozy, comfortable and only an hour from Melbourne, 10min to the beautiful towns of Lancefield & Tooborac and 6mins to the closest winery. This property is a true retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life; where the silence is complete, the night sky deep and the stars bright. The property is mostly wooded with outstanding natural features including creeks and waterfalls (dry in summer), stunning views of the surrounding country side, extraordinary variety of wildflowers including orchids and huge granite monoliths throughout the property synonymous to Nulla Vale. The access to the property is generally in good condition however it would beneficial to have a vehicle with reasonable height clearance to access the property. There is limited solar power (enough for phones and laptops) and low flow water (enough to brush your teeth). Neither are guaranteed to be available. A wood stove heats the hut, boils the kettle and cooks your dinner; firewood is included. An open outdoor bathroom includes a sink, bath and drop toilet. Hot water is available but not promised. The hut is fenced and well behaved dogs are welcome. The property has outstanding natural features and is home to koalas, wombats, possums, wallabies, kangaroos and countless bird types. There are flowering trees, wildflowers and orchids throughout the year however best from September to November depending on the seasons. The complete property is yours to roam and explore. Please respect the property boundaries. None. My neighbours are lifestylers and farmers and it is important to show upmost respect and stay within the property line. If you are not sure about a fence line stay within it and always leave gates in the state you found them, open or closed. A tiny house operates on the property so please respect their area. You will need a vehicle with sedan height clearance to access the property. This property is suited to resourceful guests who are familiar with lighting fires, swinging an axe and understanding rural courtesies. The abundant wildlife are used to a peaceful life and if you are taking a dog with you then please keep it within eye-sight and always under your control. Please also consider that the mobs of kangaroos that roam the property include some large bucks (boomers) that can be confrontational if surprised so please proceed with caution if approaching grazing animals. Delivered (to the main road gate) and takeaway food is available from Lancefield Fish and Chip/Pizza shop.
