We are 25 minutes from the nearest grocery store (a Walmart Neighborhood Market in Pea Ridge) so please plan accordingly. Please read the lake rules books thoroughly! Owners of Turtle Cove Hideaway are not responsible for any fines acquired by guests breaking these rules during their stay. We are pet friendly and ask that you please let us know you'll be bringing your furbaby so we can discuss our simple pet rules. This is a large home and we want to give our guests the best service so we are able to. We do not want littles getting hurt or any damage to happen to the table. Keep covered when not using. Be aware of the walking paths around the house becoming very slippery when wet and PLEASE stay off retaining wall rocks they are NOT cemented in place. We live in the woods so please be mindful that chiggers and ticks are in abundance and live in the grassy areas. Guests may use the swim deck but the boat slips are privately owned. Please DO NOT go past the swim deck or move the no trespassing sign. Be aware that the only access for owners to get down to these boat slips is by the walk path at the side of the house so do not be alarmed if you see a stranger passing through to get to the dock. Two kayaks, two paddle boards, and one canoe are provided and we ask that you respectfully abide by these few rules: *please keep a life jacket on the vessel for everybody, children 12 and under must wear one at all times. This is the law. These are provided in the storage box on the swim deck. Please hang them buckled over the rail to dry and put them back in the box before your departure. *the lake level fluctuates dramatically and quickly so PLEASE make sure vessels are brought up from the shoreline when not in use or they could be swept out by the lake. *please make sure kayaks are tied up by slipping the rope through the handles and sliding the loop of the rope over the poles in the ground and that paddles are put back in their homes when not in use. Garbage pick up is on Wednesdays. Please make sure cans are at the road and any trash you have is put out. Any trash that does not fit into ONE bin at the end of your stay is a $5 per bag charge to haul off.
