Comfort and alpine flair: 3 1/2-room-Apartment

Comfortable location on the 3rd floor of a Chalet-Typ Building with view over Lake Brienz and the Valley. The building was originally a Hotel, which was later reorganized into an Apartment-House. There is a Restaurant on street-level. The apartment consists of one unit with kitchen, bathroom, living/dinging room and bedroom and a connected smaller unit with bedroom and bathroom. The apartment is accessible by elevator. It has a well equipped kitchen, a very large living/dining room with TV. 1 double bedroom and 1 bedroom with french bed and a bunk bed. A baby cot and high-chair are provided. The balcony offers a fantastic view over the valley, the lake and the mountains. My guests may use the whole location as well as all the equipment provided. There is a coin-laundry in the basement. In the apartment there is a device to dry cloth, an ironing board and an iron. you may contact me between 9am and 5pm when problems occur or for the organization of a special trip or activity. Axalp may be your starting point for visits to the Aare-gorge, to some of the famous waterfalls in the area, to the mountain-tops such as Jungfraujoch "Top of Europe" ; Schilthorn "Piz Gloria" or the Brienzer-Rothorn (by historical Steam-train) which you can see from the balcony. The only Swiss Openair Museum BALLENBERG located nearby is worthwhile a visit any time. You reach AXALP all year round by car on a serpentine road. From November through to March winter equipment is required. The yellow postal bus serves AXALP all year round from 9 a.m to 5 p.m (absolutely consult the seasonal time-table) AXALP is an alpine site (1500 to 2000 m above sea) accessible by road all year round. It is located on the left side of Lake Brienz approx. 45 min from Interlaken. It's an ideal place for hiking in summer and a well known winter resort. Medical help, pharmacy, drugstore and the usual shops are in nearby BRIENZ.
