Private apartment in a country home

Your own private space on scenic Pulpit Rock Rd. in historic Woodstock, CT (one mile from town center) near quality dining in Putnam, the Woodstock Academy, Pomfret School, and the Rectory School, in Pomfret. Private entrance. WE WANT TO SAY THIS RIGHT UP FRONT BECAUSE WE HAVE LEARNED IT SOMETIMES GETS LOST IN THE "FINE PRINT." WE EXPECT OUR GUESTS TO BE VACCINATED FOR COVID. We built our home about 18 years ago with a separate apartment for Jamie's parents. When they passed away the apartment was occupied by one of our sons for several year. After being vacant for one year we decided to offer it for short-term rentals through AirBnb. The apartment is handicapped accessible and has its own fully equipped kitchen. Our B&B is fully licensed by the Northeast District Department of Health and the Town of Woodstock, CT. The apartment has its own private exterior entrance through the three season room/screened in porch. Woodstock, Connecticut is considered part of the "Quiet Corner” of Connecticut. It is known for its history and rural landscapes. Woodstock has more operating dairy farms than any other town in Connecticut. But there are many types of farms, craft shops, antique shops, and restaurants intermingled with light industry. The scenery is spectacular, and the residents are friendly. Woodstock is about one hour from both Hartford, CT, and Providence, RI. Downtown Boston is one and a half hours away.
