Staying in a Tiny house at Strijp-S

With its 10 m2 waterland-huisje is perhaps the smallest house in the Netherlands. Tiny but complete with living room, kitchen, shower, toilet and sleeping loft . Alone or with two, you can dream away. Waterland house is the first 'tiny house' in the Netherlands. The tiny -house movement started in the US in short stands for a simpler way of life with fewer demands on space and resources. To test this, we have built a Dutch version and called it waterland-huisje . The Tiny house is on wheels and can also be transported over the highway. It can find a place anywhere in the Netherlands. Our preliminary residence is Strijp-S Waterland-huisje is located behind 'glasgebouw' (torenallee 45) in the middle of the 'Urban Jungle' of Strijp-S former Philips factory plot in Eindhoven wich is now transforming into a living area. My house is 10 min. walk. If needed I can be there in a very short time. Waterland-huisje finds its place at Strijp-S , a former Philips factory terrain in Eindhoven and one of the largest urban development areas in Europe, with great industrial heritage and scattered coffee shops , pop-up stores and restaurants. There is therefore always something to do. One of the first pioneers in Strijp-S is our neighbor the skate hall Area 51 . Also nice to just take a look. If skateboarding is not your thing there is for example the cinema Natlab . For shopping you can go to Urban Shopper with 20 specialty shops of industrial furniture to trendy apparel and recently the Vershal all in verse and responsible food . There are year-round special events. For example the Dutch Design Week every year in October. There is also every 3rd Sunday Feelgood Market Bus (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) and 402 of carrier Hermes brings you almost to the door. Boarding the train at Eindhoven and get less than 10 minutes later at bus stop Strijp-S.
