The Studio at Lyrebird Ridge Organic Winery
**BUSH FIRE UPDATE** Bush Fire impacted our property on 4/1/20. Whilst the accommodation was fortunately untouched, much of our beautiful native bush land was burnt. We are have been working hard to make the property safe for visitors and although there are some parts of our property we will restrict guests from exploring for a while longer, we are now able to welcome people back. Watching the regeneration of the bush and the returning animals is pretty special and a beauty in itself. Lyrebird Ridge Organic Winery & Retreat is set on 40 acres , half way between Nowra and Kangaroo Valley on the beautiful South Coast NSW. The room is self contained and offers all the basics for a break away. We are an Off Grid property and as self sufficient as possible. With no phone, internet or television connection you can get away from technology and reconnect with your partner, friends and family. Wander the property, explore the vineyard, enjoy our farm and native animals. The room is seperate to our home. You will have access to a shared BBQ area and can also arrange a tasting at our cellar door to try our wines and local produce. There is plenty of places to set up a picnic blanket or relax under a shady tree. We have a seat at the top dam to watch the sun go down or star gaze over the vineyard. You will be able to explore our 40 acre property. We live on the property and are never far away if you need anything. Set in the bush we are surrounded by National Parks with excellent bushwalks close by, rock climbing opportunities and abundant wildlife. We are a 15 minute drive to Arthur Boyd's Bundanon where you can tour the Artist Studio or time your visit with one of the regular events held at Riversdale. We have two other vineyards in the area, one a 10 minute drive toward Nowra, Cambewarra Estate and the other 35 minutes in Kangaroo Valley, Yarrawa Estate. Beaches of Jervis Bay , more wineries and local boutigue shopping in Berry all 30 - 50 mins. You will need a car or motorbike to get around unless you are an avid cyclist. Coming to our property means having a break from the everyday connection to technology. There is no internet, phone or television reception in our accommodation. We find this helps people to unwind and relax for the duration of their stay. Of course, we can provide guests with the necessary facilities if needed, although we don’t reveal the ‘hot spot’ for your mobile unless requested.
