We are walking distance to the bluff overlooking Long Island Sound, 10 min. drive to Port Jefferson and 15 min. to Stony Brook. Quiet, residential neighborhood. The accomodation is a private 2nd floor 1 bdrm apt with private bathroom and kitchen and private entrance in our home. In the nice weather, you’re welcome to walk around to my backyard and enjoy my meditation garden. My early riser guests especially like it for its peace and privacy. A short walk will take you to the bluff where you can see an unobstructed sunrise or sunset from March until Sept. Just ask me for directions. Someone is usually at home or can be reached by cell phone if you have questions about where to eat or if you need something. I want you to enjoy your stay here! We are a summer beach community on the north shore of Long Island with a tiny Main Street and several eateries. There is a Handy Pantry a short drive away if you need any food, drink or other supplies in a hurry! The apartment is perfect for a staycation or as a work-from-home alternative. In response to the virus, we’re taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations. There is a bus route to Port Jefferson and Stony Brook but travel by car is best.
