Riad Lahboul, tradition and comfort

Riad Lahboul is a beautifully restored, traditional Moroccan guest house run by an English/ Moroccan couple. It is ideally situated on the edge of the Medina or old town and combines tradition with modern comfort. It has a fantastic terrace and a great reputation for its home cooked food. Riad Lahboul is a family run guest house with the emphasis on guest house rather than hotel. Each room has its own style or theme all based around the local handcrafts and skills. There is a three-tier terrace with stunning views of the medina, the new town and the exotic gardens of the Lahboul area. The guests have access to the large downstairs patio where food is also served and the three-tier roof terrace. We interact fully with our guests and our reputation is based on the personal service we provide and the friendly atmosphere in the riad. We are also musicians and put on live music evenings with ourselves as well as local musicians. We love the fact that the riad is only 5 minutes away from the heart of the medina with its hustle and energy but that when you get back to the riad, the neighbourhood is calm and you can relax in the tranquility. There is a guarded car park just opposite, taxis at the top of the road and buses that stop right outside. We serve midday and evening meals cooked by ourselves. Our food is traditional Moroccan home cooking with an added twist. We also cater for vegetarians, vegans, guests with gluten free needs and meals for children. As the food is freshly cooked every day, we just ask for as much advance warning as possible. If not possible, we will just run with it, no problem. As we are a guest house not a commercial hotel, we change linen and clean rooms according to guests' wishes. All we ask is for guests to let us know as and when and in the same, if they need anything for the room or their stay. We will do the rest.
